Alba's POV

The bird chirping streaming through the window woke you up early, instead of waking up to your alarm, the first thing that greeted you was Saddie's fluffy tail hitting your face.

You groaned and rolled over, trying to hide your face from her. But no matter how hard you tried, the sound of birds and Saddie's tail whipping you kept you awake.

"Saddie, please," you muttered, reaching out blindly to try and grab her. "Give me five more minutes."

The cat simply purred, ignoring your pleas. You groaned, resigning yourself to the fact that you were going to have to get up. You sat up and stretched, yawning. As the haze of sleep faded away, the events from the night before came flooding back to you.

Jungkook. You sighed, remembering how he had broken into your apartment and then apologized, and then...

You blushed, the memories of him wrapping his arms around you, holding you close, washing over you. You remembered how safe and cared for you felt, even though you were half-asleep. And you remembered his promise.

"I'm not going anywhere."

Your heart ached, thinking about it. Did he mean it? Or was it just another empty promise, another lie? Like Jimin.

You shook your head, pushing those thoughts away. You had to focus on the present, not the past. And right now, your main focus was getting ready for work. You quickly showered and dressed, choosing a simple white dress and heels, your favorite combination. You glanced in the mirror, applying a little bit of makeup.

Just then, your phone buzzed, and you saw a text from Taehyung.

Tae: Hey, I'm picking you up today. Be ready in 10.

You: What?? No, I'm good!

You didn't feel like going with him today, you needed to clear your head before meeting Jungkook.

Tae: Too late.

You: Seriously? Why?

Tae: I have an idea.

You: Uh oh. That doesn't sound good.

Tae: Just be ready, okay?

You sighed, shaking your head. It wasn't worth arguing. You quickly finished getting ready and headed downstairs, just as the car pulled up outside.

You opened the door and slid into the seat beside him, eyeing him curiously.

"What's up, Tae?"

He grinned, his eyes twinkling. "We're going to go over a new idea for the campaign."

You raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? Now?"

He nodded, his expression determined. "It's important. Trust me."

You sighed, giving in. "Alright. But this better be good."

He pulled into the parking lot and led you inside, his enthusiasm evident. As you followed him, a strange sense of déjà vu came over you. It was just like the first time you met.

"I don't know why I agreed to this," you mumbled, shaking your head.

He chuckled, clearly amused by your confusion. "Trust me. It'll be worth it."

He led you to the conference room and ushered you inside. The rest of the team, and others including Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi, were already waiting, and the moment you stepped in, they all broke out into applause. You froze, shocked by their reaction.
