Jungkook's POV

After work, I headed home early, while she was still busy at work. I still couldn't believe she was moving in with me, it felt like such a huge step. But I knew I didn't want to be without her. She was becoming an important part of my life. I was still processing the news when I walked through the door. My house had felt more like a home lately, ever since she started spending so much time here. Just thinking about her made me smile.

I had spent the afternoon planning a special dinner to celebrate the move. I had ordered all her favorite foods, and even gotten her favorite dessert, hoping it would be a nice surprise. It felt good, being able to do something for her. To show her how much she meant to me. I checked the time, noticing that it was almost 7:00. Where is she? She had texted earlier saying she would be here, but the time was ticking closer. I started getting nervous, the food was almost done and she wasn't here. Maybe she is just stuck in traffic? I tried to brush the thoughts off.

As the minutes ticked by, my nerves grew. Maybe she decided she didn't want to move in. What if this was too much, too soon? My mind raced with possibilities. Just as I was about to call her, I heard a car pulling up outside, I rushed to the door, opening it. As I still stood there, it was Taehyung's car, he was driving? Instead of getting out she was busy talking with him what was taking her so long? What was going on?

I forced myself to take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts. It's not a big deal. They're friends, and she probably had a good reason for running late. As she stepped out of the car, I quickly closed the door, and ran towards the kitchen. I could feel the disappointment seeping through my body, but I pushed it aside. This was a special night, and I didn't want to ruin it with my own insecurities. I fully trusted her. When she walked into the apartment, the look on her face was enough to push away any lingering doubt. She was glowing, a smile on her lips, and a sparkle in her eyes. Seeing her happy was enough to erase all the tension that had built up inside me.

I met her at the door, pulling her close and kissing her forehead. "Hey. Sweetheart" I whispered, my heart warming as I held her in my arms.

"Sorry I'm late," she said, wrapping her arms around my waist. "Traffic was bad."

I breathed in her scent, feeling the last bit of tension melt away. "It's okay," I said, stroking her back. "I'm just glad you're here."

She looked up at me, her eyes bright with excitement. "Me too."

I took her hand and led her to the dining room, where I had laid out the food and candles. The romantic atmosphere was almost too much, and she gasped when she saw it.

"Oh my god, Kookie. This is perfect," she said, smiling.

"Not as perfect as you," I said, leaning in to kiss her again.

She grinned, her cheeks turning pink. "You're so cheesy."

I laughed, guiding her to her seat. "Maybe. But you love it."

As we ate, we talked about our day and laughed over silly stories from work. It was a relaxed evening, and I could tell that she was as happy as I was. After we finished dinner, I led her to the living room, where the dessert was waiting. As we sat down on the couch, she grinned, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Did you order tiramisu?" she asked, smiling widely.

I chuckled, handing her a fork. "Of course. It's your favorite."

She dug in, letting out a soft moan as the taste hit her tongue. "So good," she mumbled, taking another bite.

I watched her, a wave of affection washing over me. She was so beautiful, and even more so when she was enjoying herself.
