Alba's POV

You woke up to the sounds of people arguing downstairs, the voices low. It took a few moments for you to get your bearings, the events of the day before rushing back to you. Jimin, the confrontation, the shower, the sex. Oh god. The sex. It had been intense, emotional, and completely overwhelming. He made you forget, just like he'd promised, and, he'd taken everything else. You'd felt so raw, so vulnerable afterwards. You'd just broken down, unable to stop the tears. You hadn't wanted him to see you like that, to see how broken, and messed up you were. But he'd held you, comforted you, and eventually, you'd fallen asleep, feeling safe, and protected, in his arms.

You opened your eyes, taking in the room. The curtains were drawn, the early morning light barely seeping through the thick fabric. The room was a mess, the bedsheets tangled, his clothes still thrown haphazardly around the floor. It was clear you'd had quite a night. The voices downstairs were louder now, and you could pick out the sound of Namjoon's deep, stern voice, and Hoseok's lighter, animated tone. It was strange. What was going on?

You looked down at yourself, noting that you were still naked. You were exhausted last night. Too tired to even bother getting dressed. You grabbed one of Jungkook's T-shirt from the closet, and your underwear and then walked towards the door. The voices were muffled, but still audible, as you moved through the hallway, and down the stairs.

"I don't care," Taehyung was saying, his voice firm. "She's been through enough. She doesn't need to see him again."

"You don't know that," Hoseok countered, his tone more gentle, his words careful. "I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying... maybe she does need to see him."

You stood there, listening, wondering what they were talking about. You felt a little bad eavesdropping, but curiosity was getting the best of you.

"Why would she need to see him?" Taehyung asked, his voice tense, his words clipped. "He's the one who broke her heart. He's the reason she was in such a fucking state. Why would she want to see him?"

"Because," Namjoon replied, his voice calm, controlled. "It's closure. Maybe she needs to see him, needs to hear him say it. So, she can move on."

You stood there, your eyes widening, as the realization hit you. They were talking about you, and Jimin.

"I don't like it," Jin interjected, his tone thoughtful, his words careful. "But Joonie is right. She needs closure, and if seeing him gives her that, then maybe we should let her. But only if she wants to."

Your heart was racing, your hands clenched at your sides. Were they seriously talking about you behind your back? Without even asking you what you wanted? Your emotions were all over the place, anger and resentment mixing with fear and apprehension. Where was Jungkook? Why wasn't he talking? You didn't know why, but the thought of him staying silent, letting the others talk, hurt.

"It's up to her," Namjoon replied, his voice unwavering, his words confident. "But if she decides to see him, I'll be with her. Every step of the way."

Just then you finally heard Jungkook speak up. "I'll never agree to it," he stated, his voice quiet, but firm. "He fucked her over, broke her heart. He doesn't deserve her forgiveness, or her time. I won't stand by and let him hurt her again."

You froze at the top of the stairs, your heart hammering in your chest as his words hit you. It wasn't just what he said but the way he said it, so quiet and full of conviction, like he was determined to shield you from something he couldn't control. You weren't sure if you were angry or touched, or maybe both.

You stood there, gripping the railing, your mind racing. They were all talking about you, deciding things on your behalf, like you couldn't make your own decisions. The hurt simmered inside you. Of course, they cared about you, but it felt like they didn't trust you to handle this on your own. And Jungkook... hearing him so adamantly refuse to even let you consider seeing Jimin left a sour taste in your mouth.
