You forgot who I am

•Two days later•

Ginza, Tokyo
Kota's gym

     Kota had barely recovered from his former match. He didn't want to do anything but work after the breakup. He punched and punched his bag until he grew exhausted. "Kota," someone called him.

     Kota turned around, leaning on the wall. He saw his childhood friend, BM. BM was tall, extroverted, and lively—quite the opposite of the calm Kota. The champion looked at his friend. "What is it?"

     BM walked over to him with his phone. "If you're ready to punch a bag, why don't we go out tonight? It's a group date," he suggested.

     Kota shook his head. "I'm not ready for that," Kota refused politely.

     BM rolled his eyes. "Man. Get over Kali. I'm not telling you to find a girl but have fun. She's having fun... Why can't you?" he mumbled.

     Kota raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

     BM chuckled. "Weren't you stalking her? Didn't you see her pictures in Greece?"

     Kota hummed. He knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't help it. He watched every post and story. Seeing her like this was hurtful. "It was her birthday..."

     "So she went with her new man?" BM asked, disgusted by her behavior. "She couldn't even wait..."

     Kota looked at BM. "What new man? She didn't post any man."

     BM sighed deeply. "You're not good at this..." He pulled out his phone to show Kali's Instagram again. "Everyone is commenting about it." He showed a picture of Kali wearing sunglasses. He zoomed into the reflection. "That's not her agent. You can even see his hand in some pictures."
Kota felt his heart race at the news. He looked into the comments.

hunnyb: that's not Kota? He's in Japan now...
drasticbixch: did they break up?
sorafanpage: maybe she has a new agent!
jessi_oh: YAS QUEEN!

     The boxer swiped through the pictures, noticing all the things he hadn't paid attention to before. "It's..." he started, unsure. "None of my business now..." he sighed, giving the phone back. He knew she left him for another man but didn't realize she'd be dating him so fast.

     BM smiled. "So... Date night?"

     "Maybe..."

Azabu, Tokyo
Dynasty Hospital

     Haemi walked out of the surgery with her colleague Mika. "You look so tan, Haemi-chan!" Mika complimented. "Your vacation was nice?"

     Haemi nodded, smiling as they took off their masks and gloves. "It was great. How was it here?"

     Mika shrugged. "I hoped to see Mr. Yu more, but he didn't come. Then, a few days ago, Doctor Park told us we'd have to cut on some budget. He looked so stressed. It was a bit funny, sorry," the doctor chuckled.

     Haemi's head tilted. Of course, JK couldn't visit the hospital anymore since he was in Greece, making Haemi feel alive again. "He has a budget issue?" Haemi asked again. "That's unusual."

     Mika shrugged. "It is. Anyway, how is the wedding organization?"

     Haemi cleared her throat. "There is still a lot to do," she said, walking to the break room. There was everything to do since she never took the time to prepare for that wedding.
