Chapter 40
Your words over everybody'sShinjuku, Toyko
Cafe"I fucked up, didn't I?" Kali asked, sitting in the cat cafe with Ian by his side. They were going around shopping in Shinjuku, leisurely being around one another. He didn't lie. He was nice that day. The wind was a little cold, and the sun was dull, so they stopped in a cafe. Kali was still overthinking. Kazuo and Ian knew about Akui, and it was a turning point. Realizing that she wasn't living her best life in her castle but in her brother's empire hit hard. "Is Kazuo in trouble because of me?"
Ian smiled, petting the cat that purred against his chest. "I'll take care of Akui. Don't worry about it."
"I don't like how that sounds... How did you get the information about my mother's family?"
"I investigated your mother's death. I guessed Mina was behind it, but I didn't expect the Yoru thing. But yeah... Your mother's information wasn't that hard to find," he admitted. He lifted his gaze to look at her deeper. "About yesterday's delightful night..." he started.
Kali immediately felt her heart rush at the memories. "Oh..."
Ian couldn't help but chuckle at her flustered face. "As lovely as it was, my dear," he started with a thick Australian accent. "I still want to review what happened, mainly because of what happened to you. I'll need you to vocalize if you feel uncomfortable with how rough I can get when I'm in that state," he said.
Kali nodded, picking up the black cat on her lap. "I wasn't uncomfortable. If anything, I was happy..." She kept her voice calm despite the fire in her stomach. "But I admit that I wondered how far it would go..."
Ian nodded, smirking. "I didn't want to show you this side, but you like it. That's a dream come true!" he commented. "But how far can I take it?"
Kali cleared her throat, looking around them. Ian didn't care for their surrounding or any English-speaker eavesdropping, but Kali did. She had a public image to take care of. She sipped on her tea, trying to avoid the conversation.
Ian's eyes remained on her, slowly leaning closer to pressure her into answering. "Love? How far?" He insisted.Kali leaned back, looking away and feeling hotter. Ian pulled on her chair to bring her closer to him. "Ian!"
"Kali."
She squealed when he pecked her neck repeatedly, tickling her. What a way to gain more attention. "Stop!" she chuckled, hands on his shoulders.
Ian pulled away. "Answer me."
"I don't know my limit. It's the first time I was treated like that..."
"Then we need a safe word," he grabbed his coffee, frowning when he noticed the cat hair on it. "This is very unhygienic. Why do people do this?"
Kali threw her back in laughter. "You don't like cats?"
"I don't mind them. But I like the hair away from my drinks... Safeword, baby. Pick one."
Kali shrugged. "I'll think about it..."

The AmanAmaya stared at the ceiling. She was incredibly sore and groggy. Yoru kept his promise. She knew she had to recover if she wanted to survive. As expected, Yoru didn't leave her alone the morning after. Round infinity, endless pleasure, and shy new trials, they spent their first night lost in each other's lust. She was fully dressed and ready to check out, but her legs were not cooperating. Yoru even had to carry her to the bathtub.
"Should I carry you to the car?"
