Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Long distance

Stella has been gone for 1 1/2 weeks now with her program. She called Kelly and the kids to talk every chance they get and are beyond excited to see her in a few days. While she's been gone most days when Kelly has been off they've gone to the park and played and to the beach to play and swim. Today though Kelly is taking them to the "Art Institute Of Chicago" to take pictures and look around before going skating which he was nervous about with Brandon already having a broken arm. "Have y'all gotten y'all's toys picked up yet" Kelly asks the kids as they meet him in the living room ready to go. "Yes. Ella picked up the big stuff and I got the blocks and put them up" Brandon tells him. "Alright then let's head on out" Kelly tells them as they go to the car and he gets them and their stuff  loaded into the car before heading off

"Are y'all excited" Kelly asks the kids once they get out of the car at the Art Institute. "Yes. I think we will see a lot of cool photos" Brandon says. "What about you princess" Kelly asks Ella. "I agree I think it'll be pretty fun" Ella tells him. "Oh my God dad look at this" Brandon says as soon as they walked in as he pointed to a picture. "That's pretty cool bud. Do you want a picture with it" Kelly asks him. "Yes and with Ella too" Brandon says as Ella and him walked over to the picture and Kelly took their photo. "We'll have to send that to momma later" Kelly says. "For sure" Brandon tells him and they continue to walk through the building stopping and taking pictures at multiple ones. " Do you think that mom would be having fun with us if she was here with us" Brandon asks Kelly. "I do especially since she has fun doing anything with y'all" Kelly tells her. "Maybe we should come back one day once she's back" Ella says. " That's just what I was thinking" Brandon tells them. "It's definitely something we'll have to consider" Kelly tells them. "I agree" Brandon says. They continued to stroll through the gallery then they came up to this family portrait and stopped to look at it "we should take some family photos like those. Why haven't we already" Brandon says to Kelly. "Well buddy I'm not honestly sure why we have not a single photo of all 4 of us yet but we'll change that as soon as possible. I'll talk to momma about it" Kelly tells him. "Mommy will definitely be all for it" Ella says. "Definitely" Kelly tells Ella. "Do you think we could head on out and go eat lunch" Brandon asks. "Yes. Is that okay Ella and are you hungry" Kelly responds. "Yes" Brandon says. "Fine with me" Ella tells them. " Alright then let's go ahead and head to McDonalds before going to the skating rink" Kelly says. "Can Grandma come" Brandon asks. "Unfortunately not. Remember she has that doctors appointment today so she's busy" Kelly tells Brandon. "Oh yeah. I forgot" Brandon tells him as they load up in the car

"Princess do you want a cheeseburger or chicken nuggets and fries" Kelly asks Ella. "Cheeseburger and fries " Ella tells him. "Ok and what about you Brandon " Kelly asks. "10 piece Chicken nugget and fries" Brandon says. "Got it. Did y'all have fun in there" Kelly asks them. "Yes it was so cool seeing all of the paintings and pictures in there" Brandon says. "Yes I loved the paintings" Ella tells him. "Well I'm glad y'all had a blast" Kelly tells them. Before they knew it they were at McDonalds and eating. "This is really good. Thank you dad for ordering me these chicken nuggets " Brandon tells Kelly. "Not a problem. I'm glad you love them" Kelly says. "This cheeseburger is really good too. I miss mommy I wish she was here with us again already " Ella tells them. " She will be soon enough Ella" Brandon tells her. "Yep just a few more days. I miss her too though but we've got less days ahead of us than we do behind us before we get to see her again. We've almost made it" Kelly tells her. "Yep. I can't believe she's actually stayed gone the whole time" Ella says. " Yeah. Her program can be like her third baby sometimes and is something she's really trying to get to go far so that more than just Chicago women and little girls can be inspired by her" Kelly tells her. "I already look up to her and I'm not a little girl" Brandon says. "I do too but I'm a little girl" Ella says. "As do I and I'm a man older than her. What she's doing is absolutely nothing short of inspiring" Kelly tells them as they finish eating and head off to the skating rink
