Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

The girls have been back from their girls trip a week 1/2 now. Jennifer and Stella haven't talked since they left the cabin. Violet and Gallo just got engaged. Gallo and Stella have a night at Mollys planned to celebrate Gallo and Violets engagement. Jennifer and Richard agreed to watch the kids so both Stella and Kelly can go to it

"Congratulations" everyone screamed as Gallo and Violet walked into Mollys. "Thank you" they both said in response. "What games are we playing" Gallo asked. "The shoe game" Stella said. "Ohh this might get interesting. Isn't this a twist on the newlywed game" Violet said. "Yes" Stella told her. "Other than that we are just going to party aren't we" Gallo said. "That's the plan" Stella tells them. "Are we going to play it now" Violet asks. "Yep" Gallo said as they prepared before starting the game. "Who's going to be asking questions" Gallo asked as he sat down. "Kelly" Stella said. "Are you serious" Kelly said in response. "Yes so get ready quick" Stella tells him earning an eye roll before heading to the front to ask questions. He asked about 25 questions before they ended the game. "Y'all damn near agreed on everything" Kelly told Gallo. "Yep. We know one another pretty well" Gallo said. "If I didn't know it before I certainly would now" Kelly tells him. "Change of subject about how much longer before the baby will be here" Gallo asks. "Within the next few weeks " Kelly told him. "Oh shit getting close. Do y'all already have it planned for the kids to go somewhere or still need to find someone because me and Violet are free if needed" Gallo said. "As of right now my mom is supposed to have them but if that falls through we'll give y'all a call" Kelly tells him before they went their way

"Have you talked to Jennifer anymore since we got home" Violet asked Stella. "Not really. When I drop the kids off and pick them up we say hi and bye but that's about it. Just being cordial" Stella tells her. "Y'all kinda have to stay cordial for the kids I'd say. I still can't believe that she did what she did. How's Kelly taking it" Violet said. "Yes we definitely have to stay cordial. I can't either but it is what it is. Kelly has apologized so many times for her and has talked about how shocked he is too but beyond that he's really not said anything. I know it's hurt him though because of how close he and his mom are" Stella tells her. "I imagine even if he wasn't close it would hurt him" Violet said. "Me too but it certainly adds a layer. I really hope it doesn't put a strain on them and this issue stays strictly between me and her or I'll be getting accused of coming between them and I guess in some way she wouldn't be wrong" Stella tells her. "Regardless of what happens it's not on you. Jennifer is the one that said what was said not you and had she not said what she did y'all wouldn't be having issues" Violet tells her. "Yes but still it's tough when I'm his significant other and that's his mom. Poor dude" Stella said. "I'm sure" Violet said before they went their own ways as she headed to Mouch as Kelly headed to Cruz

"Next engagement party for someone at 51 will be yours won't it" Cruz asked him. "I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised" Kelly tells him. "Dude stop bull shitting are you going to propose or not" Cruz asks. "After the baby gets here and all yes. I'm not technically bull shitting because when we have people like Capp and Tony you never know when they may meet someone and marry in 48 hours. Hell even Carver" Kelly said making Cruz laugh. "You have a point about those 3" Cruz said. "How's everything going over at the Cruz household" Kelly asks. "Pretty good. We had a parent teacher conference for Javi the other day and got a great report there on top of getting a report card with all A's yesterday. Chloe also found her a job here local to Chicago that she won't have to travel so much for which is great because here lately it seems like I've been having to do everything with Javi and Otis due to her work schedule" Cruz tells him. "That's good to hear. She's definitely been having to be gone a lot lately that's for sure. Maybe now that she's back you'll stop calling out so much" Kelly tells her. "I definitely will and again I'm sorry for having to do it so much lately" Cruz said. "I've heard you and told you that I understand I just would appreciate a bigger notice then walking into shift. That puts squad in a bine until we can find a floater to come in if we can even find one" Kelly tells him. "I understand that. How is everything going over in the Severide household" Cruz said. "Pretty good at the moment. Getting ready for the baby and Ella and Brandon in sports. Both are doing good in school at the moment so can't really complain" Kelly said. "What about you and Stella" Cruz asks. "Pretty good as well. We've been busy it's the kids lately and preparing for the baby but we're still doing good" Kelly tells him. "Good to hear" Cruz tells him. "Yep. I'm beyond ready for this baby to be here. My hands are getting tired from all the massages I've had to give her lately but hey on the bright side at least it helps" Kelly tells him. "I bet. I remember when Chloe was pregnant with Otis how many runs I had to make to Dairy Queen and Krogers for her food cravings" Cruz said. "Stella has made it tradition every evening as she's heading home to stop at McDonalds and get a quarter pounder because she knows about 11 every night she's going to crave one" Kelly tells him. "At least she thinks ahead" Cruz said. "Very true" Kelly tells him before they say see you later and head their own ways
