Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Stella and Kelly are scheduled for the first baby appointment this morning after shift to find out how far along Stella is. "Are you nervous for this appointment at all" Kelly asks Stella on their way to the doctors appointment. "No because in a way I think seeing the baby will make it feel real and make me fully come to terms with it honestly" Stella tells him. "I hope it does because I know you've been struggling with anxiety over it because of the timing and while I understand it's not the best timing it's happening we'll make the best of it" Kelly tells her. "I appreciate that" Stella tells him

Once they were at the doctors office and called back they sat there waiting for the doctor "How are you feeling about everything" Stella asks Kelly. "I'm definitely a little nervous but I'm mainly just excited" Kelly tells her. "Why nervous" Stella asks. "The same reason I told you last time we talked about this. I'm just really scared how the kids will react" Kelly tells her. "Well I have no doubt that the kids will absolutely love a baby sibling even if it takes them some time to adjust. That's the least of my concerns" Stella tells him. "I'm glad one of us is confident about it" Kelly tells her. About that time the doctor walked in. "How are y'all doing today" she asked. "Good" they both answered. "Can't believe y'all are back for baby number 3. It feels like just yesterday y'all were here about Brandon" The Doctor tells them. "It's wild how time has flown for sure" Kelly said. "Definitely. He turned 7 just a few weeks ago" Stella said. "That's crazy but time flies. Let's take a look and see how far along you are. About how far along would y'all guess" the doctor asks. "I think she's around 5 weeks" Kelly says. "Definitely around 6" Stella tells them. "Let me take a look here" the doctor tells them. "You're 8 or 9 weeks along for sure" The doctor tells them. "Do you think we could possibly hear the babies heart beat today" Stella asked. "Very likely. Let's at least try" the doctor told them. "Oh goodness listen to that Kelly" Stella whispers hearing the babies heart beat. "I hear it. That's amazing" Kelly tells her. After listening to it for a few minutes they talked to the doctor for a couple more minutes before going to schedule their next appointment for the baby where they will find out the babies gender

"I can't believe we are doing this again" Stella tells Kelly once they get to the car. "Me neither but I'm excited. I think knowing this is our last one though does make some part of it bittersweet though" Kelly tells her. "It really does make it bittersweet. Do you think we could talk tonight once the kids go down and we do our 30 minutes alone about our relationship now that I'm pregnant again" Stella says. "We can if it would make you feel better" Kelly tells her. "I'm pretty sure it would" Stella tells him. "Then absolutely we can" Kelly says as they pull up to Jennifers to get the kids and head home

"Y'all are running a little later than the norm this morning" Jennifer says when Stella and Kelly walk in. "Yeah sorry we had an errand to run after we got off" Stella says. "Not an issue" Jennifer tells her. "How have they been" Kelly asks. "Great as always. Brandon did try to get a little grouchy last night about bed time but he quickly quit and went on to bed like I told him too" Jennifer tells Kelly. "That's good. Did y'all have fun" Kelly responds. "Yes like we always do" Brandon says. "Yes it's always fun" Ella tells him. "That's good. I'm glad y'all have so much fun with grandma" Kelly says. "I have a question Stella. I know that Ella starts preschool this year and am wondering will she have to be picked up at lunch like Brandon did in preschool or will she go all day" Jennifer asks Stella. "She'll need to be picked up at 12 until Kindergarten" Stella responds. "Just wanted to make sure I knew when I needed to get her on days I have to get them" Jennifer tells her. "Yeah and she also has to be there at same time as Brandon in the morning" Stella tells her. "Sounds good" Jennifer tells her. "Are y'all ready to go home" Stella asks the kids. "Yes and then we can play cops and robbers" Brandon says. "I want to play doctor though" Ella says. "Well how about this then daddy can play cops and robbers with Brandon while me and Ella play doctor" Stella asks. "Yes that would be so cool" Brandon tells them. "I agree mommy is funner anyway" Ella said. "I wouldn't be so quick to say that" Kelly says with a laugh earning a playful smack from Stella. "Watch yourself there" Stella says playfully before they get ready to leave and head home
