Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Long distance again

Stella decided to go ahead and go to Philadelphia and do a workshop for GOF to get the program expanded there. She plans to be gone no longer than 2 weeks but they both know it could be a couple weeks longer then that. Kelly enjoyed the fact she was going before it was any further into her pregnancy than she already was. He was taking her to the airport after they drop the kids off at school this morning

"You have made sure you've got everything you need packed haven't you" Kelly asks her as they pull up to the airport. "Yes double checked even. If I somehow forgot anything I'll just go to Walmart or something" Stella said. "Just making sure because you know last time you went away for one of these you winded up forgetting a lot" Kelly said. "Yep I did a checklist this time though so we should be good" Stella tells him as they get out. "Do you want me to walk in with you or just say bye here" Kelly asks. "Just say bye here because once I get in there I have to rush through security and get to the plane" Stella tells him. "Alright then let's get your bags out real quick so you can head on in" Kelly said as they got out of the vehicle and he got her bags out for her. "I love you and miss you already. Please be safe and don't forget to text me when you get to your hotel to let me know you've made it" Kelly tells her pulling her into him. "I love you too and will miss you so much. I'm already looking forward to next weekend and I will. As soon as I land I'll text you then again when I get to the hotel. You'll also be able to track me on life360 once I land" Stella tells him. "Me too. Next weekend can't come soon enough. I plan on checking Brandon and Ella out of school at 12 on Friday and we're supposed to land at around 7. Our flight back to Chicago isn't until late Sunday afternoon" Kelly said. "Good. I should if this one is like every other one then I will finish for the day around 5 or 6 every afternoon. I really think the kids will love Philadelphia" Stella tells him. "I agree and don't forget the deal we made" Kelly tells her giving her a wink. "Send a nude a day got it" Stella said with a smirk. "Yep that's the one" Kelly says giving her a kiss. "I think you should get going before you wind up missing your flight. I love you and please be careful" Kelly tells her giving her a kiss. "I love you too and will do" Stella tells him before breaking apart and heading into the airport as Kelly drives off heading home to work with Gallo. Him and Gallo had talked and decided that they'll get the nursery room built while Stella is gone to surprise her when she gets back so they knew they had to get done quick. They also decided to not tell Violet what they were doing either because they knew she wouldn't be able to keep it from Stella

Once Kelly got home and him and Gallo had done all they could for today Kelly headed to get the kids from school. Today he didn't have much planned for them besides just planning to play outside for a while. "Are y'all ready to go home and enjoy some of this weather" Kelly asks the kids in the car at the school. "Yes. I hope we can practice some soccer this afternoon" Ella tells him. "That won't be a problem" Kelly tells her.  "What do you think about after you do that with her you practice basketball with me" Brandon asks him. "We should beyond have enough time to do that too" Kelly tells him. "Are we going to get to video chat mom tonight" Brandon asks. "I'm not sure about tonight but every night other than tonight we will be able to for sure" Kelly said. "I wonder what all she'll do while there" Ella said. "She'll just be doing her workshop and hanging at the hotel until we're there next weekend then we plan on doing some exploring" Kelly said. "I'm excited for our trip" Ella tells them. "Me too. I've heard some cool things about Philadelphia" Brandon says as they pull into the driveway

Once they got changed into another outfit they headed outside to play for a while with Kelly. While Ella and Kelly played soccer Brandon decided to practice basketball alone until Kelly joined him. While they played Ella brought her Barbies out to play with her. "Dad are you and mom doing good still" Brandon asks Kelly. "Yep doing great actually why" Kelly said. "Was just curious since she's still pregnant" Brandon tells him. "Yes. I've already told you that nothing will happen between us. Stop worrying about it" Kelly tells him. "I just know how it went the first time" Brandon said. "I do too and done have told you that's not happening this time. I promise" Kelly tells him. "Don't break the promise please" Brandon said. "I'm not going to nor is your mom" Kelly tells him. "If you and mom love one another so much why aren't y'all married" Brandon asks. "Well that's not quite how that works it's not just like that but one day when the time is right I'll marry her" Kelly tells him. "What's stopping you now" Brandon asks. "We're just trying to take things one at a time and right now you have a baby brother on the way so the time isn't right to add another big thing on top of it but that's not your concern" Kelly tells him. "I just want y'all to be happy and together forever " Brandon said. "We will be and are happy together. I guarantee you that" Kelly said. After shooting basketball a few more minutes they headed inside to get baths since it was getting dark and close to dinner time. "Are we going to eat out or are you cooking tonight"  Ella asks Kelly. "I'm going to cook us some grilled cheese if that's okay and just want to let y'all know momma just text me and told me she's made it to her hotel" Kelly said. "Good I'm glad. I can't wait to talk to her tomorrow night " Brandon tells them. "Me too " Ella says. "I look forward to it as well. It'll be fun" Kelly tells them as he cooks them grilled cheese

Once they ate Kelly cleaned the kitchen while Ella and Brandon went to play on their tablets for a little while. "When did you say momma will be home" Ella asks. "Here in two weeks is what we plan but she could be gone for up to four weeks" Kelly tells her. "If she's gone for a month will we visit her every weekend" Ella asks. "No because I have to work every other weekend but we could go a couple for sure" Kelly tells her. "I want to go every weekend she's gone" Ella said. "I can't help I have to work. I would love too as well though but have to save up my furlough for after baby brother gets here so that I can take some time off then to be home" Kelly tells her. "Can Grandma take us" Ella asks. "No" Kelly tells her. "Why not" Brandon asks him. "Because I said so and there's truly no need. Just hope she'll be home in two weeks" Kelly tells them. "Can I go ahead and go to bed" Brandon asks him. "Of course let's go. Ella stay on the couch on your tablet I'll be right back" Kelly says heading off to get Brandon to bed. Once Brandon was asleep he headed back out to Ella. "Are you ready for bed or do you want to stay up 15 more minutes because that's your bedtime" Kelly asks Ella. "I think I'll go ahead and go on too" Ella tells him before getting up and coming over. "Alright then. Let me plug y'all's tablets up and then I'll be ready" Kelly tells Ella heading to get the kids tablets plugged in. "Can I sleep with you tonight daddy" Ella asks Kelly. "No. I'm going to enjoy finally having the bed to myself again. If you had to sleep with your mom you'd understand but don't tell her I said that" Kelly said laughing. "What do you mean about Mommy" Ella asks curiously. "She takes up all of the space in bed just like you do. I never have room" Kelly tells her. "Oh ok" Ella said. Once she got ready for bed they climbed in it and she headed to sleep

Once she was asleep Kelly texted Stella a few minutes and updated her on everything at home while she updated him on her travel day before she told him she was heading to bed considering the early day she has tomorrow so they told one another good night. Kelly got off his phone and did some crossword puzzles, watched some of the Cubs game, and cleaned up the playroom a little bit before he went and layed in bed watching tiktoks for a couple hours before he finally got off his phone and went to do a last little swipe in to make sure Brandon and Ella were still asleep before he went to bed himself.
