Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Game day

Today is Brandon basketball season starts today right after school and then they have to take Ella to her soccer game. Kelly was coming straight from the academy since he had to pick up a couple classes there today

"Hey there's dad" Brandon said noticing Kelly walking in as he got ready to go on the court. "Yep. I told you he would be here before your game starts" Stella tells him. "Yes but I wasn't sure if he'd be able to make it here in time with how his classes run over sometimes" Brandon tells her. "I wouldn't miss it for the world" Kelly told him before giving him a hug. "Are you feeling ready" Kelly asked him. "I think so" Brandon tells him. "You'll be fine I promise. Don't let the nerves get to you it's okay you don't have to play perfect no one will especially on game 1" Kelly tells him. "Thank you" Brandon tells him. "Just play your best that's all you can do. I'm proud of you" Kelly tells him before Brandon heads to the court. "I'm glad you were able to get here on time" Stella said to Kelly as they headed to the bleachers. "Like I told him I wouldn't miss it for the world" Kelly tells her. "How's your day been today Ella" Kelly asked her. "It's been good" Ella tells him. "I'm glad. Are you ready for your soccer game tonight" Kelly said to her. "I think so" Ella tells him. "I'm sure you'll do great as well. We've been practicing for about a month now and you've done excellent every time" Kelly tells her. "Yeah I just hope I can do good on the field" Ella tells him. "You will" Stella tells her. "I'm with momma I'm sure you'll do just fine" Kelly tells her. "Look grandma is here" Kelly said pointing to Jennifer walking across the court. "I'm glad you were able to make it to his game too. He's pretty nervous" Kelly tells Jennifer as she comes and joins them on the bleachers. "I bet he is but he'll be fine. Nerves aren't always a bad thing" Jennifer tells him. "Oh I know" Kelly tells her. "How has your day been baby" Kelly asked Stella. "It's been good. What's yours been like" Stella asked him. "It's been okay. There's this one recruit currently in one of my classes that doesn't listen and pisses all of us off all the time" Kelly tells her. "Do you think the recruit will finish the classes" Stella asked. "Nope. He's just starting out these last couple weeks and no way he will finish it" Kelly tells her. "Some people truly aren't cut out to be in this job" Stella tells him. "Not at all" Kelly tells her. "How's everything going with you and Richard" Kelly asked Jennifer. "It's still going great. He's on the road this week then I think he's going to go to Philadelphia for the week next week to see Jack and get some more of his stuff to bring here especially since I'll be with Stella and Violet next weekend at the cabin" Jennifer tells him. "That will be fun. Is he talking about moving down here" Kelly said to Jennifer. "Kelly quit quizzing her on everything. We didn't like it done to us don't do it to her" Stella tells him. "This is my last question" Kelly tells her. "He's fine. It's my karma I guess" Jennifer told them. "Yes though he's talking about moving down here still and is slowly moving stuff down here" Jennifer tells him. "I'm glad. He seems like a really good dude and a fantastic fit for you. It was about time you found someone like that" Kelly tells her before the game started so they began to watch it and cheer on Brandon. "Holy shit that was a hard fall" Stella said grabbing onto Kelly as they watched Brandon get knocked down. "If you're this way watching him get fouled I'm really going to feel bad for you next week watching him play football in game" Kelly tells her as he wraps his arm around her. "My momma nerves won't be able to handle it" Stella tells him. "Better get used to it" Kelly tells her. "I think his Severide is really being shown in how excited he is for it" Jennifer said. "I think so too. Kelly doesn't understand what them two put us through being like that either" Stella tells her. "Unfortunately not. All we can do is pray for our sanity at this point and their protection that they don't consider" Jennifer tells her. "Whole heartedly agree" Stella tells her before they go back to watching the game until halftime when Kelly headed down to Brandon real quick. "Hey coach can I talk to him real quick" Kelly asked the coach. "Yes for just a minute" The coach told Kelly as Brandon came over to him. "You can't let yourself just be pushed around like that Brandon. Put some attack behind yourself. You see how they are all doing with each other on defense you need to do that too" Kelly tells him. "What if I get fouled though " Brandon asks. "Then you get a foul like they do. Don't rush up to close but be willing to hover" Kelly tells him. "I'll try" Brandon tells him. "We've practiced it plenty now go back over there with the team and I'll see you afterwards. You're doing great otherwise" Kelly tells Brandon patting his shoulder before heading back up the bleachers. "What did you just tell him" Ella asked him. "I gave him defense advice" Kelly tells her. "I think that probably hurt him a little bit" Ella said. "Why " Kelly asked her. "He was already scared for it and didn't want to play bad" Ella tells him. "Ella he knows I'm proud of him. I told him good job but I just wanted him to attack like the others are on defense. You need to work on minding your business sometimes" Kelly tells her. "Don't talk to her like that" Stella tells him. "I wasn't mean in the slightest" Kelly said to her. "It's the way you said that last sentence" Stella tells him. "Kelly you may not realize it but sometimes it's not what you say but it's how it was said and like Stella said you were very harsh sounding there in how you said it" Jennifer tells him. "I'm not arguing about it especially not here drop it" Kelly tells them as the basketball game starts back up. Once the basketball game was over they headed down to the court and told Brandon how great he did before getting ready to head to Ellas game. "Are you riding with me or mom" Kelly asked as they got ready to go. "I'll ride with you" Brandon said. "Okay fine with me" Stella and Kelly both tell him as they go to get in their cars. "Be careful I love y'all" Kelly told Ella and Stella before he gave a kiss to Stella and headed to his car. "I love you too" Stella tells him
