Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

It's been 2 months now that Stella and Kelly have been officially back together and the kids and Jennifer still don't know quite yet about them. Today Stella wanted to have a date out with Kelly but he was teaching at the academy today subbing in so it would have to wait until that night. Jennifer knew Stella was supposed to be getting the kids today so she was going to have to be the one to lie to her if she had any hope of getting a date with Kelly out and about. "What do you think I should tell your mom that she'll believe" Stella texts Kelly. "Tell her you're going to dinner with Violet and I'm going to have to wind up teaching a late afternoon class too so it'll be late before one of us gets them" Kelly texts back. "You really think she'll believe that" Stella asks him. "Absolutely she already knows that I'm having to sub today and knows it's your weekend with the kids" Kelly texts back. "That is true. Where do you want to go" Stella asks Kelly. "Does the new steak house in West loop sound good" Kelly asks. "Absolutely" Stella responds to him

Once Kelly was done teaching for the day he called Stella to see which place she was at so he knew where to pick her up. She said she was at her place getting ready and some more clothes to bring so he swung by to get her before heading to the loft to unload her stuff and get ready himself to go. "Damn you look good" Stella said admiring Kelly as he came out of the bathroom in khakis and a white/blue button up shirt. "All you but thank you" Kelly told her grabbing her in for a kiss. "When did you get that dress. I don't think I've ever seen you in a bright green dress like that" Kelly tells her. "I got it a few months ago trying to change things up a little bit and see if it looks good" Stella says. "Well it not only looks good but it looks smoking hot on you but come to think about it everything does" Kelly tells her causing her to blush. "Oh stop it" Stella says covering her smile. "I'm not doing anything but speaking a fact" Kelly tells her grabbing her hand as they leave the house

"I can't believe we lied to your mom" Stella said as they sat down at the restaurant. "What she doesn't know won't kill her and she certainly does not need to know everything " Kelly tells her. "Oh trust me I know. It still doesn't feel right to lie to her though" Stella tells him. "Oh I know. So changing the subject how have you been feeling about where we are right now" Kelly asks her. "I honestly am really happy. I definitely had my reservations coming into this again but for the most part they've quickly escaped with time and experiences with you. I can't wait to see how far we go with this. How about you" Stella replies. "I feel really good. I definitely had me a few fears for the beginning and just trying to make sure it left the ground so to say. I'm very happy it did and that you're giving me another shot" Kelly told her. "You were the easiest second chance I've ever given" Stella told him. "Well I'm flattered " Kelly tells her as they order their food. "Was it weird for you at all in the beginning when we first got back together to look at one another like lovers instead of friends after a few years" Kelly asks her. " Honestly sorta. Not much but just a tad. It feels very different and new this time like no other time has ever felt like but in a good way. I was very nervous for the first time we had sex post getting back together because I wasn't sure how that would be seeing one another like that again or doing something like that with one another after a few years but it surprisingly wasn't awkward at all" Stella told him. "Yeah I get that. I think in a lot of ways it is a fresh start for us and I'm glad honestly" Kelly tells Stella. "Was it weird for you" Stella asked now curious about him. "Honestly no and yes. No in the terms of I've only ever looked at you in that way to a certain extent and would have fucked you anywhere at any time had you let me. Yes on the forefront I know my body is very different since we were first together. I'm a few years older and about 35 pounds heavier now and instead of having a 6 pack of abs I now just have a dad bod with a little bit of a belly so I was a little nervous for that reaction " Kelly tells her. "Pertaining to your first sentence all I've got to say is men will be men. I gotta admit my body was something I was subconscious about too going into it. You only look hotter now than I remember and that's saying something because you were hot then. Like you though I've birthed a whole kid since we last had sex and didn't completely bounce back from Ella. I gained 32 pounds with Ella and have only lost 10. I know I'm not fat or anything but like you I've got a little bit of a chunk I'm not used to having there as I've always been on the skinnier side" Stella says as their food comes out.
