Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Reunion

Today was finally the day Stella will be coming back home. Everyone was excited for her to be back and felt like she had been gone to long. Her flight is supposed to land in Chicago at 3 PM so Kelly had the morning to get the house all cleaned up after letting it go a bit these last couple of weeks while she's been gone. He got the kids up and made them eggs and pancakes for breakfast before they headed to the play room while he loaded the dishwasher with dishes and cleaned the counters and table so that the kitchen would be done. He then headed to the living room to get the blankets put away and all the toys back to the playroom before vacuuming the rug and dusting the living room. Once he got done with the living room he headed to check on the kiddos. "Are y'all having fun" Kelly asks them. "Yes we're trying to build a house with these Legos" Brandon says. "It's going to be big" Ella says. "Ohh well good luck and let me know when you get it built so I can see" Kelly tells them as they tell him okay and he heads off to Ellas room

Once he walked in he yelled for Ella to come and get a few toys that had made it to her room to take back to the playroom. He got everything cleaned up in there before sweeping and changing her sheets throwing them in the washing machine to start after he got his and Stellas along with Brandons sheets. While he was finishing up in Brandons room Brandon came to get him to show him their finished Lego House. "That's amazing y'all. Good job. I'm going to take a picture and send this to mom" Kelly says taking a picture and sharing it with Stella. "What are y'all going to build next" Kelly asks them. " Nothing. We are about to do cops and robbers" Ella says. "Please be careful " Kelly says. "We will" Brandon tells him. Once he was done talking for a minute he headed back to get Brandons sheets and put them in washing machine. He then went on and cleaned the bathrooms and got his and stellas bedroom cleaned up as well before heading to unload the dishwasher and get the dishes up. Once he was done he went back to the playroom where the kiddos are and joined them. "Are y'all hungry for lunch yet" he asked them. "Yes. I'm starving" Ella says. "Me too" Brandon tells him. "Do y'all want some grilled cheese and the park or to go to McDonalds and then the park" Kelly asks them. "Mcdonals so we can even play there" Brandon says. "I agree with Brandon" Ella tells him. "Okay sounds like a plan then. Let's go get dressed to go. As soon as we leave the park we can go get momma" Kelly told them. "I'm so excited to see mama" Ella says. "Me too. I can't believe she's been gone for a couple weeks" Brandon tells them. "Me either but glad to finally have her back" Kelly says as they clean up the playroom and go to their rooms as Kelly picks out their outfits and helps them get dressed to go. Once they were all dressed to go Kelly grabbed the keys and got them loaded into the car before heading to McDonalds

Once they got to McDonalds Kelly ordered and went to sit down as the kids headed off to play "be careful Brandon and don't try anything to further hurt your arm" Kelly tells him. "I won't trust me" Brandon says running off into the play house. Once they got their food they came to eat. "Mama just text me she's boarding her flight" Kelly tells them. "How long will it be" Brandon asks. "Just a couple of hours" Kelly tells him. Once they finished eating they headed off to the park for about an hour before heading on to the airport knowing that they'd have to deal with a lot of traffic on the way

Once they got to the airport Kelly helped the kids out of the car and headed in "she should be here in about 10 minutes" Kelly told the kids as they headed in. Once they got inside they sat and waited while the kids played on their tablets and Kelly watched for Stella. Finally after waiting for about 15 minutes they spotted Stella as she grabbed her bags and came running over to them immediately giving the kids a hug and kiss before giving Kelly a hug and kiss before gathering the kids around her and Kelly to get a photo of all four of them reuniting. "I missed you so much" he whispered to her. "I missed you too. I'm so glad to be home" she whispered back before giving him another kiss and breaking apart. Ella wanted to be toted so Stella toted her while Kelly got her bags as they headed back to the car. The whole way home was spent catching up about the last couple weeks in their worlds. "What do you think about for dinner ordering from La Serra" Stella asked Kelly. "We can if you want. I don't have anything out for dinner" Kelly tells her. "Okay sounds good" Stella tells him. Once they got home Kelly unloaded Stellas bags as her and the kids headed inside. "I'm impressed you did all of this. It looks so good" Stella tells Kelly noticing he's made the living room and kitchen spotless. "Thank you. I had to get it spotless for you to come home to. You would have had a stroke if you saw how dis organized it had gotten" Kelly says. "I would have understood but love coming home to this for sure" Stella says giving him another hug. "Don't leave for that long again" Kelly whispers to her as he wraps her into his arms. "I don't plan on it" Stella tells him. After a few minutes Ella and Brandon wanted her to come and play with them in the playroom so she did and Kelly decided to join them. All of them played cops and robbers and firemen until dinner time. Kelly ordered dinner while Stella got the kids ready for bath time. While they waited on their dinner they got the kids bathed. "I think I'm going to go ahead and get mine too especially after the flight and playing with them" Stella tells them as she headed off to get her shower

About the time she got out their food was there as Kelly got it and went to sit at the table to eat. "I'm so glad your finally home. We missed you so much" Brandon tells her. "I missed y'all too and am glad to be home. Hopefully if I ever get to do that again y'all can tag along" Stella tells them. "That would be fun" Ella says. Once they got done with dinner and had everything picked up Ella asked Stella "can we go watch a little cartoons with you before bed". "If y'all want to we can" Stella told them. "I do" Ella says. "I do too" Brandon tells them. "I'm going to get my shower then I'll be out to join y'all" Kelly tells them. Once he was out he joined them in watching Paw Patrol. "After this episode y'all will have to go to bed though or y'all will be cranky tomorrow" Stella said. "That's okay. We will have gotten two episodes in" Brandon said. "Yep" Stella says as they watched the episode. Once it was over Kelly headed to get Brandon down while Stella went and got Ella down

Once they had the kids down they rejoined one another in the living room. "It's been a long two weeks" Stella said sitting down on Kellys lap as he wrapped his arms around her. "No kidding. I feel a little bad though because about the only really fun different than our normal thing we did while you were gone was the Art Institute. We spent the rest of my off days here, at the park, and at my moms" Kelly told Stella. "Did they have fun" Stella asked. "Yes a blast actually" Kelly told her. "That's all that matters. They didn't care what y'all were doing they were just happy to be doing it with you" Stella says. "I guess " Kelly says to her. "Hows things with Brandon and you been while I was away" Stella asks. "It's been good. He didn't get to mouthy at all at any point" Kelly tells her. "I'm glad" Stella tells him. "I'm ready for him to get his cast off in a couple weeks so we can start practicing for football season since he wants to play flag football this fall" Kelly says. "Yeah I'm sure he is too. I'll be glad to have the worry of him re injuring it while it's already messed up as well" Stella tells him. "I bet" Kelly tells her. "So how was your two weeks away" Kelly asked her. "It was good besides missing y'all. During the day was great because I was teaching but at night back in the hotel room it got pretty lonely pretty quick. I think I stayed the right amount of time though to better ensure that I left it on a solid enough ground it should be fine" Stella tells him. "That's good. I'm really proud of you. You've put a lot of yourself into the program and slowly but surely you see it pay off more and more" Kelly says. "Yep finally and thank you" Stella tells him. "You ready to return to shift in a couple days" he asks. "Absolutely" Stella says. "I know everyone is excited to have you back but everyone has done great adjusting to your absence" Kelly told her. "I'm glad" Stella tells him. "You're kinda quiet tonight and not talking near as much as you would. Everything okay" Kelly says to her. "Yes I'm just exhausted after the last couple of weeks and the travel of today but thank you for checking. I appreciate it. Also thank you for holding down the fort here with the kids so I could go" Stella says in response. "Not a problem" Kelly says. "I think I'm about to go lay down. Wanna join me" Kelly asks Stella. "Absolutely" Stella says getting out of his lap as they get up and head to get ready for bed before climbing in it

Once they were both in bed Kelly pulled Stella towards him and gave her a kiss "I gotta say without you here these last couple weeks there's been an emptiness. Your absence here and even around the firehouse too" Kelly tells her wrapping her in his arms. "I'm glad to be back for sure" she said. They laid there in silence for about 10 minutes before Kelly grabs one of her breasts "really Kelly" Stella says turning over to face him. "Yes. You know you like it" Kelly tells her. "You can't prove that" Stella said giving him a smirk. "Watch me" Kelly tells her as climbs on top of her as things deepen and they wind up making love. "Fuck Stella I can't believe I forgot to shut the door before we did that. Thank God the kids stayed in bed" Kelly says rolling off of her and back onto the bed. "Thank goodness they did. That would have been a welcome back we weren't ready for" Stella tells him. "No kidding. Knowing the door is open I'm going to go ahead and get back dressed real quick just in case " Kelly tells her. "Same. Got lost in that moment didn't we" Stella says getting dressed. "Yep. I think we might should start sleeping with our door cracked. I don't want it closed just because I know Ella wouldn't be able to open it and sometimes Brandon struggles but at least crack it" Kelly tells her. "I'd be all for it. Shut it as much as we can without it actually being shut" Stella says. "Exactly" Kelly says. "Did you at least enjoy the sex" Kelly asks. "Oh I loved it. You" Stella responds. "Same here" Kelly says giving her a kiss as he cuddled into her and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm about to go to sleep. I love you" Kelly tells her. "I love you too. I'm so happy to be back home and in bed with you tonight" Stella tells him. "I'm glad too" Kelly says right before dozing off.
