Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Last day of Summer

It was officially the last day of summer break so they knew they needed to make the most of it especially considering Kelly and Stella were off as well. They plan on hitting up the park before going to the movies.

"Are you ready to get up and have breakfast before we head to the park" Stella asked Ella going in to wake her up for the day. "I guess" Ella said stretching before getting up. "What's our plans for today" Ella asked Stella. "We are going to the park this morning and then going to watch a movie this afternoon before going to have dinner at Grandmas this afternoon" Stella tells her. "Oh ok busy day" Ella tells her. "Yep but hopefully fun" Stella tells her. "How did you sleep last night princess" Kelly asked Ella as her and Stella joined him and Brandon at the table eating breakfast. "I slept great" Ella said. "Good to hear. Are you ready for our fun day we have planned" Kelly asks. "Yes. I'm most excited about the park" Ella said. "I am too because dad told me we can practice some basketball while we are there" Brandon says. "Yep especially since you are wanting to play this fall you need to be ready. Same with that football you're wanting to play too" Kelly says. "You're really going to scare me playing football but I'm excited to cheer you on" Stella says to Brandon. "Ehh he's a tough kid he'll be fine" Kelly says. "Ella are you still wanting to play soccer" Kelly asks Ella. "Yes" Ella tells him. "Alright then we need to start practicing for that too soon" Kelly tells her. "I can easily practice soccer with her" Stella tells them. "Are you sure" Kelly asks looking at her stomach so she'd catch the hint. "Oh yes easily at least until she's good into the season " Stella said. "Ok that would be perfect" Kelly said. "I can even help Brandon with basketball I'm just not good at it though so I probably won't help much because I know about as much as he does" Stella says. "I've got it covered when you don't " Kelly tells her. "Let's go get changed and head on to the park. We've got to stop by the store real quick so I can grab a soccer ball and a couple basketballs for us" Kelly tells them as they all go and finish getting ready

Once they got to the park Ella and Brandon decided to swing for a while before going down the slide a couple times while Stella and Kelly threw the football back and forth to one another. "Dad are you ready to start practicing" Brandon asks Kelly walking over to them. "Ready if you are" Kelly tells him. "I am. I want to start on football too if that's okay" Brandon says. "Fine by me" Kelly says. "I want Mom and Ella to practice with us too so I can practice throwing while being defended" Brandon says. "Alright then let's get them over here and get to practicing " Kelly said. They practiced a few minutes before Kelly said "Brandon you need to watch for which one is more open or you're going to get it intercepted a lot" before they resumed practicing. "Great job" Kelly tells Brandon before giving him a high five and resuming to just throw it to him while Stella and Ella went and practiced soccer. "You know when I was your age I used to play soccer too and then in middle school I started playing volleyball" Stella says to Ella. "That's cool. What number did you wear" Ella asks. " Number 12" Stella tells her. "That's cool. That was the number I was wearing in T-ball" Ella tells her. "Yes it was" Stella tells her

They practice soccer some more while Brandon and Kelly practice football. Once they both got done practicing Ella wanted to practice basketball with Brandon and Kelly so she joined them in practicing. "Go over there and tell momma I said to come over and play with us" Kelly tells Brandon. "Kelly you know I'm not worth a shit in basketball" Stella says walking over to the basketball court. "You weren't in football either but you still practiced with us" Kelly says. They practiced for a little while before heading to get lunch and head to the movie theater. "Do y'all want to go to Hardees for lunch" Stella asked the kids. "No. I want to go to McDonalds" Ella says. "Me too. There's nothing good about Hardees especially since they don't have a play ground" Brandon says. "Ok then I guess for the millionth time we'll go to McDonalds" Stella tells them. "I'm going to go by Arbys and get a roast beef before we go to McDonalds. At this point I've ate enough McDonalds I don't know how I've not turned into a chicken nugget" Kelly says. "Get me one too and then they can have McDonalds" Stella tells him. As the kids were playing for a few minutes before heading to the movies Stella and Kelly took the opportunity to talk for a few minutes. "Did you have a good time this morning at the park" Kelly asked. "Yes. Feeling very gassed right now like I need a nap but had a lot of fun at the park. It's always fun to see the kids having a good time" Stella says. "I agree. That pregnancy sleepiness hitting you good today" Kelly says. "Sure is but that's okay. We've still got plenty to do" Stella tells him. "What is your plan career wise when we tell everyone about you being pregnant and when do you want to tell everyone" Kelly asks her. "I think I'll probably do a lot of work with GOF until I can't and do some OFI sometimes towards the end so that I'm still into the job in the way that I can be while pregnant. I'm thinking about trying to expand my program some more too while I've got the time. As for when I don't really know honestly. It needs to be soon though. When would you want to" Stella says to Kelly. "I would do it before we know the gender in a few weeks so that we can have a little gathering and have everyone find out the gender there together. Talking about expanding your GOF program are you talking about locally around Chicago or what" Kelly says. "I definitely agree it needs to be within the next few weeks I'm just not for sure on the when yet. As for the GOF stuff probably not locally. I might do some in surrounding cities but I was thinking about expanding to Oakland California and Philadelphia Pennsylvania at least. I'm still trying to convince the Tuscon Arizona fire department. I'd also like to go check on the Milwaukee program too" Stella says. "Why would you want to travel like that pregnant" Kelly asks. "It's really the only time I have to do it and it not take away time from being a firefighter too" Stella says. "I'm not going to support you in that Stella. I'm sorry but I'm not especially while you're pregnant. That's 4-8 weeks maybe 9 already pretty much guaranteed that you would have to be away and that's even if you don't get more fire departments wanting you to come there. Now if you want to do one and then go check on Milwaukee then be done except locally that's one thing but all that other absolutely not" Kelly says. "Here you go reverting back to old ways" Stella says taking Kelly off guard. "Excuse me" Kelly asks. "I said here you go back to old ways of not supporting me. I knew it would happen eventually" Stella tells him. "Stella I've come to fucking far to be disrespected by a simple statement that I made that's completely justified. Why especially pregnant would you want to do that? The kids will be in school so they sure can't travel with you this time either. Stella this is the one pregnancy that I can fully be there for you in the way you deserved the first two times and now you're trying to run from both me and the kids in the long run too. If you want to run from me just fucking run I'm not going to stop you and make sure you run so far when you look back you don't even see me but don't you dare punish the kids in the process" Kelly says. "Kelly I'm not punishing anyone and you can come after me for many things but don't ever come at me about who I am as a parent. I've done explained my reasonings. Yes I understand that it would take me away from the kids and you which won't be fun but it doesn't change the opportunity being presented" Stella tells Kelly. "The day you chose a job over our children wasn't a day I ever thought I would see truly" Kelly tells her. "Once again Kelly do not bring our children into something that does not involve them. You are being presented with a chance to support me and you're not doing it once again. Like I said I figured it was to good to be true" Stella tells him. "Did I or did I not the first time when you expanded to Detroit here a couple months ago not tell you to jump on it and that I'm proud of you for it so you did and I'm still proud of you for it. Don't get it twisted I'm proud of you and the program. I'm not supportive of the idea that you'll spend so much time in such a little time frame away from our children and we'll miss so much of you being pregnant because your to busy tying yourself to work. If you want to expand in cities around Chicago I'll be happy to support that but I'm not going to support you being gone that much away from everyone here. You not only would be robbing yourself of so much but you'd be robbing me and the kids too especially while you're pregnant" Kelly tells her. "You did support it and I appreciate that but it seems you only did it because your mask hadn't slipped yet" Stella tells him. "I'm not continuing this because now you just sound like an idiot and you're out to hurt me and it's not happening. Don't deny it either or you'll just sound dumber. I told you just a minute ago I'm still proud of you and would support you with it even currently in expansion if you would do it in surrounding cities or Chicago for right now. One day if you want to break up your expansion and go to all them places go for it and I'll be in your corner backing you every step up the way. I've done a lot of work to become who I am now for our children and myself and that's one thing I will not let you discredit. Once again I have apologized over and over again for that and I mean every I'm sorry for that I've ever given. You keep saying oh it's just a mask and I'll just say if that's just a mask I'm heading to pat myself on the back for being able to keep it up for 3 1/2 almost 4 years" Kelly tells her. "I think it's best we just get the kids and head on the movie theater " Stella says. "Finally something we agree on today" Kelly says
