Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Today Ella is turning 5. They are having her birthday party this afternoon at Jennifers. Stella was going to head over there around lunch to help Jennifer set up everything but this morning they are going to spend it as a family at home with it being just them

"What time do I need to have the kids over there this afternoon" Kelly asked. "2 at the latest 1:30 at the earliest" Stella tells him. "Okay. Who all is supposed to be coming" Kelly asked her. "Gallo,Violet,Richard, I believe he said something about his son is likely going to be there, your mom, Cruz,Chloe, Javi, and Otis" Stella said. "What about the Hermanns" Kelly asked. "Cindy said they had something already planned today so they won't be able to make it but they did make sure to get her something and were very apologetic" Stella said. "Oh ok. I know they hate to miss it" Kelly tells her. "Me too. Are you ready to get all of Ellas gifts brought out here for her to open when I get her up" Stella asked him. "Yep. You probably need to get Brandon up first because we all know she's going to be ready as soon as her eyes open" Kelly tells her. "Planning on it" Stella tells him as he pulls out all of her presents into the living room before Stella heads to get the kids up

"Happy birthday princess" Kelly says as soon as Ella comes around the corner. "Thank you" Ella said running to Kelly for a hug. "Dang and I don't get a hug" Stella said jokingly before walking to Ella and getting a hug too. "Happy birthday Ella" Brandon tells her. "Thank you" Ella said. "Do you want to eat breakfast first or open gifts" Stella asked. "Open my presents" Ella said running over to them. "Don't open this one until last" Kelly said touching one of the gifts as she begins opening her presents. She got a baby doll, some accessories to have for the baby doll, and a Barbie dream house for her birthday. "I can't wait until daddy gets my Barbie dream house together so I can put my Barbies in it" Ella tells them. "I'll get it together tonight after y'all go to bed" Kelly tells her. "Okay so I can play with it tomorrow" Ella asks. "Yes after school" Kelly tells her. "What do you think about your baby doll and the bottles, outfits, and little stroller you got for it" Stella asked her. "I love it. Now I have my own baby too just like you will soon" Ella tells her. "Yep that's very cool isn't it" Stella said. "Yep" Ella told her as Kelly took the baby doll out of the stroller for her. "Do you want pancakes or eggs for breakfast" Stella asked Ella. "Pancakes" Ella tells her. "You're going to turn into a pancake if you're not careful" Stella said jokingly making Ella and Brandon laugh. "Can we after breakfast go outside and play on the trampoline" Brandon asked. "Yes" Kelly tells him

After they ate breakfast they headed outside so the kids could play on the trampoline for awhile while Kelly and Stella sat on the porch watching them. "Can you believe our youngest is turning 5 yet here we are starting all over again soon" Stella asks Kelly. "Knowing us yes because we are known to be a little crazy like that but at the same time no. I'm glad it's the last time we're doing this though to be completely honest" Kelly said. "Honestly me too. I'm a little sad to be closing the chapter for more babies but 3 is beyond enough for me and I cant imagine having any more" Stella tells him. "Yeah I get it. I hope the doll we got Ella really helps her with the adjustment of a baby sibling once he gets here" Kelly tells her. "I hope so too and do think it will at least to some extent at least" Stella said. "If she keeps viewing it as her baby like you have yours I think she will. If the mindset changes I think we'll be in trouble" Kelly tells her. "I know it's still a little ways a way but will be here before you know it though but have you decided how much time after the baby gets here you're going to take off" Stella asked Kelly. "Yeah. I checked the other day and I've got 12 weeks of furlough total. I'm going to take 4 weeks off and then save the other 8 just in case something comes up like Ella or Brandon appointment or sick stuff like that. You need me home for something just whatever" Kelly tells her. "It'll be nice to have you home for that long" Stella said. "I can't lie I'm excited for it. I love what I do but I've not taken any time off in 3 years so I'm ready for a little break" Kelly tells her. "You've not missed a shift in 3 years" Stella said looking at him shocked. "Nope. I've had no reason to"  Kelly tells her. "Damn. I knew you didn't miss much but didn't realize you didn't miss any. You deserve you a little break" Stella tells him. "I'm ready to. I hate taking time off though" Kelly tells her. The kids continued playing for a few minutes before heading in and getting dressed for the party before Stella headed onto Jennifers. "Do y'all want to go to the park for a few minutes before we head to grandmas or stay here until time to go" Kelly asked the kids. "Stay here. I want to play nurse and patient with Brandon. He told me he would play it with me since it's my birthday" Ella told him. "Alright that's fine by me" Kelly told her. "Text me if y'all get it set up earlier and we'll come on then" Kelly told Stella as she left. "I will" Stella tells him
