Kelly and Stella : Coming Back Together Again

Overheard

They had spent the day with the kids at the beach and had just put them to bed. Stella decided she wanted to go ahead and go to bed to watch some TV there before going to sleep so Kelly joined her. "Stella I just want to make sure that we are on the same page about having a third baby. It will be a long while before I think I'm ready just because we have only been back together almost 4 1/2 months and I just think it would be a little quick. We need to be back together for my comfort I feel like closer to a year at least" Kelly tells her. "I said on down the road for a reason. I agree it doesn't need to be tomorrow for my liking either. I just  want it eventually" Stella tells him.  "Ok just making sure. We've still got a lot of stuff to work through" Kelly tells him. "I understand that" Stella tells him. "Why did you change your mind about wanting to actually try to have a baby" Kelly asks her. "I just don't fully feel like our family is complete yet" Stella tells him. "Gotcha. I'm asking this just being realistic here but what if we do eventually attempt to start trying and you don't get pregnant will you be okay with that" Kelly says to her. "I believe so because I'm perfectly content currently with just Brandon and Ella now" Stella tells him. "Will you be okay if we have another one is the better question because I've not heard you leave the if it happens it happens stage" Stella asks Kelly. "Yes. I'm going to keep that mindset as well to not be crushed if it doesn't happen" Kelly tells her. "Okay making sure because I don't want to have one and then you look back and hate me for it because you weren't on the same page. I'll come back to you again though about it before we start trying and make sure again though" Stella tells him. "Don't worry about what won't happen. It takes two to tango and I'm a very willing participant of the two doing it here" Kelly tells her. Kelly goes on to sleep a few minutes later as Stella starts to read her book before going to sleep

The next morning they got up like normal with Stella cooking breakfast. Kelly got the kids up for the day while she got breakfast cooked. Once everyone was up and they were all sitting down eating breakfast Ella says "mommy and daddy am I going to be a big sister" taking Kelly and Stella off guard. "No not right now at least. Why" Kelly asks. "I heard you and mommy last night talking about having a new baby" Ella tells him as him and Stella share a look. "We were talking about maybe one day but not right now" Stella tells her. "What does that mean for me though? Will y'all love me the same still or will me and mommy still be as close as we are right now" Ella asks. "It will just mean you get a baby sibling. One more person to love. As for if we'll still love you the same absolutely. We love both of you and always will nor will the amount of love we feel for y'all. As for you and mommy of course. If anything it could make y'all closer" Kelly tells Ella. "I agree with everything daddy just said and guarantee you nothing will come between us and our bond" Stella tells her. "So essentially I'll just have another sibling like Brandon" Ella asks. "Yes" Kelly tells her. "I have a question for y'all. If we do get another younger sibling will it make y'all split again" Brandon asks. "Absolutely not. We're going to make sure we are in a great place before we try to have another one if we do decide to go that route" Stella tells him. "We won't. Like mama said we are going to make sure everything is great and it makes sense beforehand" Kelly tells him. "Okay just making sure because when y'all had Ella it wasn't but a couple months later and y'all split" Brandon tells them. "Yes but that had nothing to do with Ella. We had a lot of issues and didn't properly plan" Kelly tells him. "Oh ok just making sure" Brandon tells them. "Yep nothing to worry about" Stella tells Brandon. Once they finished breakfast they got ready to head to the park again. "Dad when are we going to go shopping for school because we start back in a couple weeks" Brandon asks Kelly. "We will be going one day this week while mama and Ella go shopping for Ella and her school stuff " Kelly tells him. "Sounds good" Brandon tells him before heading off to get his shoes on. "Would y'all like another sibling though if we do wind up having one more" Kelly asks the kids as he goes to get his shoes on as well. "I would love it so much" Ella tells him. "I would too especially if it was another little girl. I don't want a baby brother" Brandon tells him. " Why don't you want a baby brother" Kelly asks Brandon. "I just don't. No particular reason" Brandon tells him. "Oh. I'm sure you'll love it regardless " Kelly tells him.
