Recap:
"I see. Well, good luck with that. It'd be cool if this elephant becomes our ally." why and how is Luffy so calm about this?
"That's easy for you to say." Nekomamushi said but laughed at the Strawhat's antics.
The latter suddenly whipped his head to (Y/n), "(Y/n)! Can't you use your magic to control his mind to join our alliance or something??"
The Witch sweatdropped, "Luffy... that's not how an alliance works.."
He didn't seem too down at the answer though when he turned back to Nekomamushi and opened the blue bag, "Anyways, now, we're gonna go, so can we have lots of food?!"
On with Chapter 65:
3RD PERSON POV
"Yeah, yeah! You can take as much food as you want!" "Carrot, show him the way to the food storage."
Before Carrot could have moved, a mink came flying down shouting "We have a problem!" and smacked right into Luffy's face, causing the both of them to tumble to the ground.
"What's wrong, Musatobi?! Don't tell me Jack is back again!" Inuarashi was the first to question.
"N-No! It's not about Jack!" the squirrel(?) mink, now known as Musatobi, reassured, but brought worse news, "One of Zunesha's forelegs is... it looks really terrible... The wound is so large and deep.. It's miraculous that he's still on his feet.."
Right as he said that, Zunesha tilted once again, catching everyone off guard and everyone tripped, including our Witch.
Zunesha was probably limping due to the injured leg they just knew about.
"So this is what Jack left with us." Inuarashi commented.
"We must do something as soon as possible!"
"Say, Luffy..." (Y/n) heard Chopper suddenly asked his captain, "Can we delay our departure a bit?"
Luffy immediately understood what Chopper wanted to ask as he showed a grin, "Do you wanna treat the elephant?"
Chopper nodded determinedly.
"All right! Treat him quickly!" "Uh-huh!"
Inuarashi stepped forward towards them, "No, that's so nice of you but..." he got cut off quick by Luffy, "Stop it! We're the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance!" he exclaimed.
Inuarashi tried again to refuse the offer but the strawhat pirates continued insisting,
"With this many people, it won't take long."
"Yup! Count on us!"
"That's right!"
"Yes, yes!"
"I knew this is what we'd do."
"Okay, let's do it!"
(Y/n) didn't even have to ask her captain if they are going to join them in this. She can see the determination in his eyes to help the elephant recover.
"First, we need tons of medicinal herbs! That, I can get! But the problem is the bandage." Chopper started listing the items he needed for the treatment.
"A bandage, huh? How can we wrap his massive leg? I mean is there a bandage for an elephant in the first place?" Usopp asked the minks and they shook their heads.
"I think I can get a bandage." Robin offered, "Leave it to me!"
"Now, let's talk about how we apply the bandage." "Oh, I might be able to help with that!"
