Law had moved from his spot but saw (Y/n) still in the same position. "(Y/n)?" he called but she didn't respond. Instead, she was thinking over on what she had witnessed.
"So this is the power of the Kouzuki clan.."
On with Chapter 60:
3RD PERSON POV
Now at the Guardians Residential District, the group was walking towards the huge tree positioned in the center of Zou, about to meet the ninja they have been hearing about.
"Time to climb the whale. If you learn the proper way to ascend the vines, you can go all the way to the top." Nekomamushi said as he led the way up.
"So this is where Raizou is?" Luffy asked excitedly, sitting on Nekomamushi's back.
"I can't wait! A real ninja!"
"We're gonna see an actual ninja!" Chopper exclaimed as he was on Nekomamushi's head.
"Ninja! Ninja!"
"Nin! Nin!"
(Y/n) was silently following the Cat guardian as she decided to glance over to her lover who was right beside her. They had ended up joining them after the reunion of the Kozuki clan and the Minks.
Law, as per normal, he looked like his stoic and unamused self.
But after having been around him for a decade, she could tell that he was anything but unamused.
"You look awfully excited." she muttered just loud enough for the both of them to hear.
If someone were to hear (Y/n)'s words, they would have thought she was crazy until they would see Law's flushed face.
"S-Shut up!!" he whisper-yelled, "No I'm not.." (Y/n) giggled as his response.
Meanwhile behind them, Momo was being carried by Kin'emon. "Ughhhh, I still feel terrible, Kin'emon." the child apologized for being carried by the elder.
"You could wait for us at the bottom, my lord." Kin'emon suggested, which Momo also refused to accept.
Suddenly, he let out a groan, "The closer we get to the whale, the more I can hear this loud voice..." Odd thing was, it was purely silent. No one knew what Momo was referring to.
"There was another who said much the same." Inuarashi brought up.
"Indeed. I too remember him." Nekomamushi added.
Before any questions could be asked, the cat opened a hidden entrance.
"There's an entrance here?!" Chopper exclaimed.
"It's a hidden door. Impossible to find."
They descended the stairs with Nekomamushi going first. "Be careful." he warned everyone, taking slow steps as well.
Everyone was amazed by the interior, Who would have thought this would exist in a tree this big, growing on an elephant? (Y/n) herself couldn't help but get intrigued by every detail she passed, making Law drag her back to the group so that she doesn't get left behind.
"I can hear someone screaming down there.." Nami said warily.
A minute later, they finally reach the end of the stairs, some more excited than the others.
"Here we are!"
"Yahoo! Where's the ninja!"
Instead of meeting a cool ninja in all-black clothing, they were met with a large man with a large head, wearing bright clothes and being shackled to a Poneglyph with sake cups in front of him on the floor.
"There you are, Nekomamushi!" the big-headed Ninja said, "Why didn't you hand me over to the enemy?! The ones who have been bringing me food are all heavily wounded! I heard the country is now safe...is that true?! If you've been lying to me, I won't let you off lightly!" tears started pooling in his eyes.
The boys were, least to say, shocked at the sight.
"WHAAAA-?! TALK ABOUT A HUGE LETDOWN!" they exclaimed, and it was only then that Raizou noticed their presence.
"Hm? Who goes there!"
"Raizou!" Kin'emon, Momo, and Kanjuro greeted him first.
"Oh! Kin'emon! Kanjuro! Lord Momonosuke! I'm glad you are all unharmed!" he greeted them back just as excitedly.
"Is that the crest of the Kozuki clan?" while they were having their reunion, (Y/n) was still taking in the details of the inside of the tree. As if the Poneglyph in front of her wasn't enough, there was a symbol - similar to the one on Kin'emon's back, imprinted on the wall behind it.
"And.. that stone..." Robin spoke up, "I've never seen one in that colour!" she was right, this Poneglyph was different from the others they had seen. This one was deep red in colour.
"Yes! It's a Poneglyph!"
"That crest has been there for hundreds of years." Inuarashi mentioned, "I have heard about you, Nico Robin and Witch Doctor (Y/n)! It is said that those of Ohara learned to read those letters."
"But why is it red?" Robin asked while glancing over at (Y/n) for an answer, but the latter just shrugged. She too has never seen a red Poneglyph before.
"This one is apparently for some different purpose. Can you guys read it?"
"Yes, may we?" Robin, once again, looked over at (Y/n) and this time she nodded, soon joining Robin by her side.
"Of course."
So while the two of them were reading through and deciphering the stone, the others seemed to be interrogating Raizou, the supposed ninja.
Bit by bit, they wrote down what they had gotten onto a piece of paper before passing it to Nami to read it.
"This is what was inscribed on the Poneglyph? It certainly appears as if a sea chart was drawn here at some point! It seems that it may be pointing to a specific location!"
"Whale forest is revered as a sacred place because of the existence of this very stone! We "guardians" are tasked with the role of protecting it!" Nekomamushi explained and Inuarashi continued, "That red stone over there is known as the "Road Poneglyph". The final point of the grand line, which has been endlessly sought by the stalwart warriors of the sea! This stone is a guide to that very location!"
"You mean, Raftel?!" (Y/n) took a guess, and Inuarashi confirmed it, "Exactly right! However-" but before he could explain further, he got cut off by everyone else.
"RAFTEEEEELLLL??!!!"
