Because people still needed to work on Monday, so after lunch the next day, everyone set off back to Seoul. For most of them, it felt like they barely arrived before needing to leave again. But Hanni felt like so much time had passed. After all, her relationship with Minji had taken such a huge leap forward.
The plane landed at Seoul airport. The four people dragged their luggage out of the passageway, and when they arrived at the elevators.
Minji said to Hanni, "I'll go get the car in the parking lot. Just wait for me at the exit."
"I'll go with you," Hanni insisted.
"I can go alone, it'll be boring." Minji shook her head.
"Then give me the luggage," Hanni replied, reaching for the bags Minji was holding.
"I can take it." Minji avoided Hanni's hands and said, "Just wait for me."
Hanni's cheeks turned a little red. Minji's doting tone made her feel very spoiled, especially when Danielle was pointedly blinking at her. In the end, she could only nod her head while feeling embarrassed.
Minji nodded back, then turned towards the parking lot.
Hanni watched Minji's retreating figure and thought to herself, This person really doesn't do things half-baked. Even just getting the car was done with such a determined stride.
"Then wait at the entrance with Hanni. I'll get my car and drive you back," Jung Kook said to Danielle then dragged his luggage towards the parking lot.
"I realized something." Danielle said as she watched Jung Kook leave.
"What?" Hanni asked.
"Your Minji, the person who had been hostile to Jung Kook this entire trip, deliberately walked away first so she wouldn't have to walk with Jung Kook to the parking lot. I guess she's still immensely jealous," Danielle joked.
"It's not like that. They just aren't that familiar with each other," Hanni replied.
"Fine, fine, keep lying to yourself. But I know you can see it just as well as I do," Danielle said with a smirk.
"What do you want me to do?" Hanni helplessly said. "If I told her not to get jealous of Jung Kook, do you think it'll actually change anything?"
"It depends on how you say it," Danielle's expression suddenly turned indecent. "For example, you can wear some sexy lingerie and whisper it into her ear."
"Shut up!" A red Hanni angrily pushed Danielle away.
Danielle laughed hard.
"I'm ignoring you." Hanni walked off in a huff.
After Danielle's laughter petered off, she grabbed her luggage and ran to catch up with Hanni. The two chatted while they walked towards the airport entrance.
"I used to think that Minji was nothing but a boring person. But after this morning, I realized that she's a pretty interesting person," Danielle commented.
"What happened this morning?" Hanni doubtfully asked.
"She quarreled with Bomin," Danielle replied with a smile.
"Bomin? Really?"
Minji was a person of few words. Even with Hanni, she only said a few more words. With strangers, she basically didn't pay any attention to them.
"Bomin ran over to Minji while Minji was out in the yard and said that she hated Minji. She said that the reason you didn't become her sister-in-law was because of Minji," Danielle explained.
