It took Hanni fifty minutes to reach Kim Company. Throughout the drive, she kept wondering what could have upset her wife so deeply. Even in her previous life, Minji's response to anger was usually limited to a silent stare, her self-control had always been unshakeable.

"Madam," Hyein greeted Hanni as the elevator doors opened.

"How is she?" Hanni asked, glancing toward the closed office door with concern.

"Boss has calmed down," Hyein replied, "but she's still in a bad mood."

"Do you know what happened?" Hanni asked.

Hyein shook her head. "I'm not sure, but it seems there was some kind of argument."

Hanni nodded, understanding the situation. She knew about Minji's difficult relationship with the rest of the Kim family, but she also recognized that Minji still cared for her father, Kim Taehyung.

After taking a moment to collect herself, Hanni approached the office door and knocked gently.

"Come in," Minji's voice, cold and firm.

Hanni found it both familiar and strange, familiar from the past, yet strange because Minji had never used that tone with her in this life. She opened the door and stepped inside. The office had already been tidied, no trace of disarray remained.

"Hanni?" Minji looked up, clearly surprised. She stood up from her chair. "Why are you here all of a sudden?"

"I missed you," Hanni replied with a soft smile.

Minji relaxed, setting down her pen and walking around the desk to reach her wife. Wordlessly, she wrapped her arms around Hanni.

Somehow, her wife always seemed to appear just when Minji needed the most. It was like the time she met that little girl who danced to buy slippers, or later, when that same girl kept quiet about the thief sneaking into the school. While others turned away, judging her background, Hanni had always offered a warm smile. Maybe this was what people meant by two hearts becoming one, when you know someone so intimately that feelings resonate within you, even in silence.

"Don't work today," Hanni said softly, deciding not to press her wife further about what had happened.

"Huh?" Minji looked at her wife, puzzled.

"Let's go on a date."

As always, President Kim didn't hesitate to follow her wife's suggestion. Though they'd been married for some time, they hadn't had many dates, but it hardly mattered, wherever they went, happiness was simply being together.

Since the idea had come spontaneously, Hanni hadn't made any specific plans for the day. Eventually, they decided to visit Seoul's largest botanical garden. Hand in hand, they meandered through a serene forest filled with towering trees, pausing every now and then to take in the beauty around them. After a while, fatigue set in, and they found a bench where they could sit and rest.

As a chill breeze swept through the air, Minji gently took her wife's hand and tucked it into her coat pocket, keeping it warm and snug. When they emerged from the trees, they stumbled upon a wide meadow. Although the winter grass was withered and yellow, the scattered fallen leaves added a soft, romantic touch to the scene, making it feel almost magical.

Hanni noticed a couple taking wedding photos nearby. "When will you have some free time?" She asked suddenly.

"En?" Minji turned to her wife.

"I want to retake our wedding photos," Hanni said.

Minji glanced over at the couple as the photographer directed them into poses. Smiling, she replied, "I'd love to do it, too."
