Above the battlefield, Lilithea’s face darkened as dark as the bottom of a pot and she wanted nothing at this moment, but to grind the Demon King into powder or skin him alive. How could a demon king scream for help in front of so many people? Where was his backbone?

When Lilithea notices Cruella’s ambiguous gaze on her, she is so embarrassed that she wishes a hole would open up and swallow her. Why does she have a subordinate who is so cowardly?

Thus, she hurriedly denied her relationship with the demon king, “I don’t know such a cowardly person!”

When Lilithea saw the way Cruella looked at her, she pretended to be serious on the surface. However, her head was full of imagination about how to murder the demon king. In her head, she already killed the demon king a million times.

Back on the battlefield, the silence shattered when someone coughed and the wind blew harshly, causing the sand to swirl in the air; everyone came back to their senses and continued fighting as if nothing had happened.

Blood splattered everywhere on the battlefield; making the scene gory as dead bodies littered everywhere, piling up high. Some monsters lost control of the intense smell of blood and fought each other; some were eating the corpses, and some fled the battlefield.

The demon king’s hope was dashed when he didn’t hear the response of the great demon he respected so much. He felt even more terrified at the girl in front of him, who looked impatient and indifferent, as if she looked down on him—an inferior being.

In fact, the demon king felt small upon sensing the dark aura surrounding Sera. He had never seen such pure dark power before, despite being a demon king and the follower of the great demon for thousands of years. It feels as though Sera was an ancient demon—the ancestor of all demons. He can’t even look at Sera’s eyes for fear of ticking off the latter.

Although Sera was slightly weaker than Lilithea in terms of power, Sera’s bloodline was more elite and sacred. Thus, the inferior demon king was suppressed by the pure bloodline.

“Are you really the demon king?” Sera asked with uncertainty. She assumed that the demon king was fake. Her eyebrow furrowed in confusion. There’s no way the demon king was cowardly, right? She hasn’t even made a move yet. She was about to insta-kill the demon king, but he didn’t follow the script at all. He was like a frightened mouse. Sera lost interest and snorted.

Demon King Azazel felt a thousand ants crawling in his body. “That’s right! I’m not the Demon King! Yeah... I quit being the demon king!” He shouted and everyone heard his words.

Again, the battlefield fell into pin-drop silence.

And again, Lilithea was stunned, and face-palm. Does she really have a cowardly subordinate? ‘I don’t know such a demon!’

Lilithea was so furious!

When everyone came back to their senses, there was an uproar on the battlefield. All the demons were stupefied!

Even the warriors fighting the five summoned heroes were stupefied, with disbelief plastered on their faces.

‘Where was the scary, ruthless, and bloodthirsty demon king gone?!’

“You quit being the demon king?” Sera uttered in disbelief.

“Pfft! So hilarious!” Sera couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

Demon King Azazel was ashamed and wished to open a hole right there and hide! However, what’s important is to stay alive, and he doesn’t care if what he did was shameful.

“My Lady, you are so powerful! Please let me follow you!”

Sera narrowed her eyes in contempt. “You’re not worthy!”
