Paris, 1832

Christine woke to her father gone, he'd gone out this morning leaving her enough time to get dressed and sneak out before he stopped her to questions what she was doing.

She wrapped her chest with bandage, making it as flat as possible, dressed herself in her father's clothes and tucked her hair in one of his caps.

She left the house and wandered the streets and walked towards the Musain. She hung round the area until it grew dark and started piling with the Les Amis.

Éponine:
One more day all on my own

Christine:
I will see you soon again
Enjolras (simultaneously with Christine):
Will I see you soon again?

Éponine:
One more day with him not caring

Christine + Enjolras:
I was born to be with you

Éponine;
What a life I might have known

Christine + Enjolras:
And I swear I will be true

Éponine:
But he never saw me there

She watched as Enjolras looked round in hopes of her joining him but he walked towards the group outside, knowing he had to start the meeting.

Enjolras:
One more day before the storm
At the barricades of freedom
When our ranks begin to fall
Will you take your place with me?

All:
The time is now
The day is here!

Christine joined the students upstairs whilst they gathered all their ammunition and weapons.

Every time Enjolras looked in her direction, she kept her head down.

Grantaire had noticed but he swore to keep her secret and often stood in front of her to block Enjolras' view of his lover.

All 1 (Christine):
One day to a new beginning!

All 2:
Raise the flag of freedom high!

All 1:
Every man will be a king!

All 2:
Every man will be a king!

All 1:
There's a new world for the winning!

All 2:
There's a new world to be won!

All:
Do you hear the people sing?

Marius:
My place is here!
I fight with you!

Everyone  congratulated Marius but Christine just lingered in the corner of the room by Grantaire.

Jean Val Jean:
Tomorrow will be far away

Javert + Christine:
Tomorrow is the judgement day

All:
Tomorrow we'll discover what our God in heaven has in store

One more dawn!

One more day!

One day more!

Christine sat by Grantaire as they softly talked to on and other.

"I thought he told you not to fight." Grantaire whispered to the girl, a small smirk evident on his face.

"And I never agreed to that. He just doesn't have to know. When I tell him, it'll be too late for him to send me home. Besides, no man will tell me what to do." She answered, sitting back in her chair.

Her friends smiled with pride, "Good on you, Christine."

They spent the rest of the night helping the preparations and soon it was time for everyone to return home until the morning. But, Christine stayed that night in Madame H's lodge's to avoid her father.
