"Wow Amane-san, you look great!" Uraraka exclaimed, bounding towards the blonde along with Midoriya and Iida.

"Really? I don't know, I feel so revealing next to you guys..." she trailed off, picking subconsciouly at her white skintight bodysuit that revealed all of her arms and legs, making goosebumps at the gazes she was earning. "My quirk needs me to charge off of sunlight, so I need to be showing as much skin as possible." She shivered, suddenly wishing both her white gloves and boots were long enough to cover all of her exposed skin.

"I think it looks awesome!" Uraraka promised. Yuka doubted it, considering the only interesting thing about her costume was the golden embroidery lining the sides of her bodysuit and gloves.

Mineta seemed to differ though. The short boy stood a mere three meters away, ogling with his mouth agape.

"Yeah, I think it really benefits how your quirk works! That is the most important aspect of how your costume should be designed!" Tenya announced. A red-cheeked Midoriya nodded, though he didn't say anything as he tried to avoid looking at the two girl's outfits.

All Might's booming voice interrupted their conversation. "Alright, everyone! It's time for your combat training!"

The students lined up, buzzing with excitement and nerves.

"It's All Might!"

"Waahhh, can you believe we're being taught by All Might?"

"He's even more charismatic in person."

Her classmates fawned over the muscular man in front of them, eyes sparkling as they all looked at their common idol, All Might.

Yuka, along with many of her classmates gaped at the hero in front of her. The number one hero, All Might.

He was the reason she was standing there. He was the reason she never gave up.

She had always looked up to him, had always wished he would appear at her door and whisk her away from the hell that was her home.

But he didn't. He never did. Because All Might couldn't possibly be worrying about all the children being used as an outlet for their dad's anger, could he? If he did, both her and Shoto would be safe, unscarred and unscathed; happy. But there were only so many heroes in the world.

She had thought that even one extra hero, powerful or not, could make a difference. Maybe if there was one extra hero who noticed the wounds on a child's arm, Yuka could've been saved.

Maybe she could be that one extra hero.

All Might explained the rules of the hero vs. villain exercise, detailing how the teams would face off in a simulated battle scenario. The objective for the heroes was to either capture the villains or secure the fake weapon, while the villains had to protect it.
