ADRIANO
The cowardly bastard limps out weakly at the merest sign of a threat. To think he’ll stay for the fun, but as usual, he flees at danger.

I doubt he was that stupid to think I'd make it that easy for him. Staying true to myself, my main target in the last month has been getting Tesoro back. It's been hell without her and I've been a shadow without having her. It's crazy to think the lady I saw in a picture, being asked to make her my wife and protect has become such a major part of my life.

She was meant to be just a side project, a minor distraction, a little addition and she's unprecedentedly taken my life for a spin. Funny is, the moment I saw that picture, I knew the world as I knew it had inevitably changed.

Everyday I woke up without her, I felt like a walking corpse. A stranger to my own self, tortured, burdened, unstable. I haven’t laughed or smiled in a whole month. Even to the family that had been my escape before meeting her.

“Boss”, “Capo”, “Don”, “Adriano” I have been called coupled with adjectives, “ruthless”, “merciless”, “cruel”, “cold blooded”, I have discovered to be all a farce as I've cried like a baby, even hurt myself missing the one who called me “baby”. You know what I've become? An unrelenting bloodhound. Anyone who steps in my way or has messed with my girl should be ready to face the inhumane force I've become.

When I see Novalie, my heart melts but I know it's not time for sentiments just yet. If I let myself hold her, I was never going to let go, I just knew it.

Lopez is quick in action, he shoots Javier in the hand and goes straight for the pounce. All these have been thoroughly premeditated. Lopez was to stall with Javier while I went after Alessio. I was ever so eager to finally end Alessio then be back to slowly and painfully torment Javier.

When he leaves the room, I follow closely behind. I take note of his steps and turns and mirror them, stalking the unfortunate bitch.

Nothing is a surprise in our world, so while shooting people I come across in the halls and chasing Alessio, I couldn’t even express shock at catching the infamous, stupid columbian heir through my peripheral vision.

What the fuck was he doing here?

I pin him in place when I point my gun at him and he raises his arms in surrender. When two of my men pass by, I signal them to stop.

“Take this man, dont kill him, just torture him. He and I have a little talking to do later,” I order them and they follow instantly.

I continue my chase for Alessio and by the time I catch up, I find that he has just shot Juan and without hesitation, I repay the debt, sending a shot to his other knee.

All it took was locking eyes with my men and they knew what to do. Two came forth, grabbing Alessio by each shoulder, tossed his gun and dragged him into a newly evacuated room behind me.

“Let me share your pleasantries from the other day, ‘warm greetings, bestie,’” I said with an obviously feigned smile to him.

“Let’s wrap this up and get it over with, Adriano. You know you don’t have it in you to kill me, so why waste time you could be using to kill your wife’s predator,” he said with a chuckle

“Any time spent hurting you is not wasted time, it’s regained time. You have a bullet in each knee and one left belonging to your head,” I stated but it was a warning.

I stalked over to a weapon bag one of my men had dragged in, and I picked out three knives. Yes, I had worked on impalement because it gave me a fond feeling of her.

I took a stance and flung at Alessio. The first knife went, passing by his face with only millimeters and getting stuck on the wall behind him as I had aimed.
