Abbie's POV
As the days went by, things began to return to normal slowly. I finished my classes and received my certificate credentials to become a certified teacher.
There was also a great debate between Elena, my mom, Elora, and me over taking over the kingdom. Elora wanted me to take over her pack, Elens wanted me to take over the crown, and I- wanted to stay in my pack.
So, we came up with a plan.
Elora needed a replacement. So, if I ever had a daughter, we would train her to become the next alpha. But if I gave birth to a boy, she'd have to give him the pack when he's ready to take over as alpha. Which- she agreed.
As for the throne, Elena has been the queen for hundreds of years, and a few more years won't hurt. So, she agreed that when Anthony is old enough to take over as Alpha of Hinter's pack, I will take the crown and serve my kingdom along Hunter's side.
For now, I will stay here- in my pack, where I belong. The Blood Moon Pack of the North has always been my home, and it will be my home until the day I'm ready to sit in Elena's place.
My heart is content teaching the kids in my pack. In just a short time, they've become like another family.
I also had Armand join Hunter in the search for Analise. Matisa was astute. She meticulously covered most of her tracks, continually making sure she cleaned her tracks and implicated someone else for the fault of her crimes.
As for Tara, you'll never guess. Elora took her in. She had a hard time at first; learning to be stubborn and rude was all she knew, but my mom was wonderful. She is teaching her to have self-love and take care of others. From what I hear, Tara has taken a liking to art and is studying it. She is actually really good at it.
A week ago, Elora's new warriors returned from a long training session, and Tara found she was mated to one of them. She actually tried to reject him. Her past with Taylor is still an open wound, but he refuses to accept the rejection and is willing to give her time to heal.
I have a feeling she's on a long healing journey, but I'm happy for her.
And if you're wondering about the Blue Lotus Pack, well, my sister Felicity and Luke, her mate, Alpha of The Black Raven's Creek, are taking over the pack. The two packs will be joined together, and he will be their new leader.
I'm glad he's the one taking over. That pack is completely lost. They have zero training and lack in every aspect. Luke and my dad Bertram will surely put them in top shape in no time. Luke will move his pack into the Lotus since it's a bit bigger. But Hunter has gone the extra mile, extending their pack's territory a few acres. Our pack is so big, but there is so much inhabited land. So, we gave them a few acres for Luke's pack to establish in.
