Seraphina's Pov

Caspian and I stood side by side at the edge of the enchanted forest, the entrance to the place where our mother is.

My hands are getting sweaty and my heart is pounding loudly. This is the moment that I have been waiting for, ang panahon na inaasam asam ko mula pa noong ako ay bata.

"Are you ready?" I glanced at Caspian. Ibang iba saakin ang ipinapakita niyang emosyon. He was calm while I'm nervous.

"Yes." I whispered. "Let's go."

"Don't be nervous, princess." He ruffled my hair. "Hindi naman siguro nananagat ang ating ina?" He chuckled.

I shook my head. "Hindi ko mapigilan.. Natatakot ako Caspian, what if galit siya saakin dahil sa pagpatay ko sa ating ama? what if h-hindi niya ako tanggap?" My lips quivered.

"I know she's not angry at you saka Ilang beses ko bang sasabihin sayo na hindi si ama ang pinaslang mo? Katawan man niya iyon, hindi naman niya kaluluwa ang nasa loob nito.. " Napatungo ako, he told me that many times already. "And trust me princess, tanggap na tanggap ka ng ating ina."

"Paano mo naman nalaman yan?" He smirked. "I just know.. Tara na."

We stepped into the glowing path, and as we go deeper, the world around us transformed. The trees became taller and more majestic, their leaves shimmers with an otherworldly glow. I can hear the soft melodic chirping of birds and I can see the butterflies flying everywhere.

Itzamna, the god of creation told us that he sent his youngest daughter, which is my mother here as a punishment for entering a forbidden relationship with my father.

I couldn't help but to question his decision, hindi ko matanggap na dahil lang doon ay nagkahiwahiwalay kaming magkapamilya ngunit wala na akong magagawa pa. Past is past and it is better to just left it behind, ang importante ay ang mga ala-ala at mga aral na natutunan ng bawat isa saamin na babaunin namin para sa hinaharap.

We reached a serene garden that is filled wit vibrant flowers and a crystal-clear pond. Standing by the water's edge was a woman with long, curly brown hair and eyes that mirrored my own. I froze on my spot when she smiled at us with a mix of joy and sorrow in her eyes.

"Mga anak ko." Her soft angelic voice made my hands tremble.

"M-ma?" I whispered, my heart pounding in my chest.

Sinunod ang aking isinisigaw ng aking damdamin. I ran to her, enveloping her in a tight embrace. Tears streamed down on my face as I felt the warmth of her love and the weight of the years we spent apart.

I sobbed on her chest, pouring out all of my unsaid feelings. Ang pangungulila at pagmamahal.

"My sweet Seraphina." My mother whispered, holding me tightly. "I've missed you so much, anak ko." I cried harder upon hearing what she said.

"M-ma.. I've w-waited so m-much for this m-moment my whole l-life.. To be called a-anak." I hugged my mother tighter when I heard her soft cry.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you." Her voice cracked. "I never stopped thinking about you." I felt her kissed my forehead.

"Don't leave me out here alone." Caspian joined us, wrapping his arm around both of us.

My mother chuckled. "Caspian... Ang panganay ko."

Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas bago kami naghiwalay sa pagkakayakap. I dried my tears.
