Tezcatlipoca causes chaos in a village

Tezcatlipoca was feeling bored one night, so he decided to mess around in the mortal realm for a while.

“Time to have some fun.” He disguised himself as a mortal and went to the nearest village.

Tezcatlipoca walked around, trying to look natural. He disguised his eyes so that no one could see they had changed color. They only changed when he was truly chaotic. One eye was black with his pupil yellow, while the other was inverse of those colors.

With a flick of his wrist, Tezcatlipoca threw a small explosive near a house. It wouldn't go off without his command.

“Hey, kid.” Tezcatlipoca called to a child who looked no more than twelve. When he got her attention, he said, “Why don't you and all the village kids go for a swim in the nearest lake? Things are gonna get messy around here.”

“How do you know?” The girl asked.

“Trust me, kid. Just keep an eye on the others and come back in, say an hour.” He briefly flashed his eyes to the girl, revealing who he was. She gasped before nodding her head, “That's a girl.”

Tezcatlipoca watched as she ran off. He waited until he was sure all the kids in the village had gone. While he loved spreading chaos, he drew the line when it came to children.

With a snap of his fingers, the explosive went off. It wasn't a large explosion, but it was enough to start a small fire in the village. People were freaking out, running and screaming in different directions. Tezcatlipoca smiled mischievously, making a few more smaller explosions just to scare everyone. He punched anyone who was close enough to him for the sake of it.

Finally, one of the villagers cried out, “Who is responsible for this?!”

“Tis I!” Tezcatlipoca exclaimed. The whole village stopped to stare at him, “Yeah, that's right, I was the one who started all this! But don't worry, it was all a set up! A hoax! I was bribed by one of your own to do this!”

“What are you talking about?!” A villager asked.

Tezcatlipoca grabbed the closest man next to him and held a dagger to him, shocking the villagers, “It was this guy.”

“Why would you do such a thing?!”

“I didn't!” The man yelled.

“Oh, come on, don't lie.” Tezcatlipoca said with a sadistic smile, “Just tell your people how you bribed me into destroying the whole town.”

The village was staring at the man with shock and anger. The man looked at the dagger and back at Tezcatlipoca, “You're not going to kill me.” He said, nervously.

“Yeah, in the face. Why?” Tezcatlipoca held the dagger closer to the man's face. Suddenly, a man fell to the ground, shocking the villagers even more. He had been hoisted into the trees with vines which had broken and had a knife in his back.

“He was like that when I found him. You might want to check if he's dead.”

Tezcatlipoca pushed the man towards the crowd, “You know what, why don't you guys deal with him. I'll be heading out.” He tossed the dagger over his shoulder, hearing it pierce flesh and someone cry out, “My leg!!!”

He walked away from the village with a smirk. He heard the angry shouts of the people while the man tried to defend himself. He snapped his fingers one more time, setting off one more explosive and causing another panic, “My bad!”
