y/n's pov:
The next morning, I decided to check out my cell a little. In the bathroom was a shower, a toilet, a sink and some supplies I could need. Also, I found new clothes provided for me.
After using the bathroom, I walked along the glass walls to see if I could find an escape, a weak spot, just something. Well, nope, nothing and the glass was extremely strong.
After pacing for a while, the doors opened and a young girl with blonde hair walked inside the room. She held a plate of food and another big glass of orange juice. She opened the door to my cell and for a millisecond I thought of escaping, but she quickly closed it behind her.
"Hi, I'm Yelena" she introduced herself and handed me the plate.
The food looked delicious. It was a variety of different things, just like berries, scrambled eggs and more, but I saw that they were careful not to put too much on the plate.
"y/n" I answered briefly. I would only tell them stuff they already knew, I said myself.
"Nice to meet you. Look, we got you a nice breakfast" she said in a thick russian accent and her mood seemed to be overly happy.
I just stared at the food blankly, weighting up rather to eat it or not.
The girl seemed to notice my mistrust and added: "I promise you, Stark and Banner did not put anything bad in it"
"I have an idea" she smiled and grabbed a few berries. She threw them in her mouth and smiled widely. "Did you see that!? I caught it with my mouth" she exclaimed thrilled.
She continued to try and catch the berries with her mouth and after a few minutes I warmed up to her and even caught a few myself.
I didn't know how, but she managed to get me to drink the whole glass of orange juice and even half of the scrambled eggs. I sensed new Energie rush through my body and I actually felt better now.
"That was fun, but I need to go now" Yelena said and I hid the feeling of disappointment. I didn't want her to leave, she was the first kind person I met in... I didn't know how long, but in a very long time.
I watched her leaving and just stared at the door for a few minutes, slightly hoping she would come back.
After realizing she wouldn't, I stood up and paced around again until I got an idea.
"JARVIS?" I asked into the room, remembering how Stark summoned him.
"Yes, miss l/n? How may I help you?" He responded firmly. So they do know my full name..
"Can you open the door?" I asked. Please, please work, please work!
"I'm sorry, you are not authorized to leave this cell" he stated and I rolled my eyes.
"Please?" I tried again, but he declined it.
"FBI, open up!" I demanded.
"I cannot open this door on your command, should I inform Mr. Stark about your wish to leave?" He asked and I rolled my eyes again, but smirked.
"Oh, no no no, it's fine" I said hurriedly.
"Could you tell me about the exits of the tower though?" I asked carefully.
"Indeed I can.." he started and told me about all exits.
Suddenly the doors burst open and Stark rushed through. "JARVIS, shut up!" He demanded and the AI went silent immediately.
"Nice try, sweetie. But you won't get out of here, there are several guards on every entrance and exit, cameras everywhere and we keep a close eye on you" he smirked.
"I like your AI, Stark" I laughed and he crossed his arms over his chest. I watched him leave again and waited a few minutes until I spoke again to JARVIS.
"Hey, you there, buddy?" I asked.
"Yes miss l/n"
"You can call me y/n, please" I said, feeling uncomfortable with him, calling me by my last name due to the fact he was the friendliest one to me here, maybe equally with Yelena.
"As you wish, y/n"
"So can you continue to tell me about the tower?" I asked hopefully.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark did not allow me to talk about it with you"
"Dammit" I cursed under my breath and slumped down onto the bed.
After a few hours, I was bored out of my mind. I needed to do something, so I decided to annoy JARVIS.
"JARVISSSSSS?" I asked, rolling down the bed and onto the floor, arms and legs extended in a star fish position.
"Yes, y/n?"
"Lemme out"
"I'm sorry, I can't do that"
"C'mon"
"I'm sorry"
"I want out!" I cried at him.
"I believe you want, but I can't help you. Should I inform Mr. Stark?" He actually sounded annoyed.
"No"
I sighed deeply. I needed to get out of here. There had to be a way, I just needed to find it. There were several options I could try, just like faking a fire, panic attack, or breaking out when they would bring food.
I kept making escape plans until a girl, maybe a year older than me, entered my cell. She had auburn hair and a kind look on her face.
"Hey, I'm Wanda" she said and handed me the food and a big bottle of water.
"Y/n" I smiled. My intentions were to make them trust me a bit to catch them off guard and break out.
I observed the meal for a second, but convinced myself that there was no need in starving myself and becoming weak, so I hesitantly ate it.
Wanda's eyes widened for a moment, but she then smiled at me widely. "So you trust us?" She asked hopefully.
"Kind of" I shrugged.
"Well, thank you. That's a big step"
"You know, even if you don't believe it, we're just trying to help you, protect you from the bad guys" she slowly said, as if I would break together by this words.
"It's just hard. I don't know who I can trust anymore" I admitted.
"I understand you. My brother and I were in your position and we decided to trust the Avengers. Now we're like a family. I just want you to know that you can talk with us" she offered.
"Thanks" I whispered, looking at the now really interesting floor. I almost felt bad for faking this conversation. Almost, but if it's my freedom for a bit lying, I can definitely live with the deal.
She said good night and left. I wanted to be in good form for my escape, so I took a shower and went to bed rather early.
