A/N: this chapter is a bit unnecessary, but I needed something like a filling chapter, so if you want you can just skip it.

The next day we all met, in sport clothes, in a room that wasn't the gym, to my surprise, and I had to admit, I was fucking nervous. I wasn't that bad in fighting, but it was clear that I had no chance against any of the Avengers without my shifting abilities.

Yelena and I were a bit early, so I used the opportunity to look around and take in, what I could see in the huge room. And I meant huge. Maybe it even covered the whole floor, but I could see everything due to the big black walls that were spread across the whole room.

This black blocks had different highs and shapes and I assumed they were used as barriers to hide or something. The whole room was a perfect replica of a battlefield. Hiding spots, different obstacles, ladders and ropes to climb some of the blocks, even the floor was uneven on some spots and no windows.

This room alone must've cost millions.

When everyone arrived, we sat down in a circle and Stark explained today's training to us.

"Okay, we have no idea about your fighting strategy, so let's make this interesting" Tony started, pointing at me. "Today we will not team up, so it's everyone against each other, since Fury decided to change our original plans"

"I'll quickly explain the game to y/n. Everyone will get a gun and a knife and try to 'kill' the others. Of course it will be a training dagger and an air soft gun, so we don't actually kill each other. You are allowed to shift, Spiderboy can use his webs, Legolas and Katniss can use their bows, of course with training arrows, and Capsicle can use his shield. No magic or super speed allowed" Stark explained to me.

Everyone chose their preferred weapons and I decided to grab one of the daggers, since I would mostly use my paws or teeth.

Suddenly, the lights went out and I jumped, looking around with wide eyes. The others just giggled and Steve said: "Don't worry, it's supposed to be dark"

I looked around and the only lights were the outlines of the blocks that glowed slightly red, only giving barely enough light to see a bit and to not run into them.

I had to admit, the room looked extremely cool and the red lights looked like lasers. I felt like I was in an action movie.

"Okay, five minutes to spread out" Tony announced and everyone ran in different directions.

I waited with shifting until no one was near me anymore, then hid behind one of those blocks and shifted into a panther. My ability was perfect in this situation. I was practically invisible in the dark and my emerald green eyes could see perfectly fine.

This will be fun.

A loud beep sounded through the room, signaling that the game began.

I took the knife in my mouth and slowly crept around the dark room. My enhanced hearing picked up every sound the others made, so it was extraordinarily easy to pinpoint their location in my head.

After three minutes, a picture of Tony was showed on the large screen at the entrance of the room, signaling everyone that the person was eliminated, followed by a frustrated "dammit!" from the said billionaire.

I was amazed for a moment that the huge screen didn't lit up the whole room, even though it was mostly black except for the now smaller picture in the corner of the TV.

Suddenly I heard footsteps near me and quickly hid behind one of the blocks, pressing my belly on the floor and extending my neck slightly forward in my usual hunting stance.

I noticed the person had trouble looking in the darkness, so I used it to my advantage and approached him from behind, soundless.

He didn't even see it coming. I pinned Pietro down and pretended to slit open his throat with my paw, not extending my claws of course. He sighed and pressed the button on his bracelet, we all got one, to send a signal to JARVIS, telling him he was eliminated. His picture joined Tony's on the screen.

In the next five minutes, Thor, Bruce, Kate, Sam and Steve were 'killed' as well, so Yelena, Nat, Clint, Wanda, Bucky, Loki, Peter and I remained in the game.

I silently eliminated Clint and if I'd be in my human form, I wouldn't be able not to grin. This game was fun and it were moments like these, that made me proud of my powers.

I heard muffled fighting and soon spotted Yelena and Nat fighting each other, trying to land a final hit on the other with their knifes. This was the perfect opportunity for me to get the, presumably, most dangerous opponents out of the way. So I hid and waited for them to end their fight.

After five minutes of super skilled looking fighting, Nat managed to pin Yelena to the ground, not long, but it was enough to eliminate her. Before the two even managed to stand up again, I had my paws on Nat's throat and made a small, victorious noise, getting an annoyed groan from her in response.

Four to go. I thought happily. Now I was in full game mode.

Someone 'killed' Wanda for me and soon I spotted Peter, swinging around. I guess his spider senses warned him from everyone nearby, just like mine did for me.

My assumption proved itself right, when his head suddenly turned to face me, even though it was impossible to hear my silent paws.

He smirked, but I knew he couldn't see me. I was invisible with my black fur. How could he-? My thoughts were interrupted by a cold, metal dagger, that slightly hit my head.

I whipped around and looked at the satisfied looking eyes of Loki. I shifted back and pressed the button on the black bracelet, making my way to the exit.

The others were intensely watching the screens that showed the remaining three. Not even a minute later, Peter managed to sneak up on Loki, whilst he was distracted with Bucky, which took the opportunity to eliminate Peter right afterwards.

The lights went back on and we all gathered together to discuss certain tactics and strategies that were used in the game. It was actually quite interesting.

"But I still don't understand how you two noticed me" I said, pointing to Peter and Loki, which smirked.

"Your eyes are almost glowing in the dark" Peter said and I rose an eyebrow. I didn't know that.

"And your collar has a small red light that shows it's activated. It was perfectly visible" Loki added and I narrowed my eyes at Stark.

"That's your fault" I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest.

"No, it's Fury's. I just invented it" he defended.

"Whatever. Good job everyone and congratulations to Bucky for winning" Steve said, patting the soldier on his shoulder.

"Yeah, but it was very helpful, that Nat and Yelena fought each other" he laughed. Everyone knew Nat would've won if she wasn't distracted by the blonde.

"See, in the end it's always better to fight as a team and not against each other" Steve said, referring to the former Civil War that occurred a year ago. I remembered myself to ask what exactly happened back then, since I was at HYDRA at the time.

"That's true" Tony agreed. "We should all get a shower now. See ya at dinner" he added and we knew he would disappear into his workshop for the rest of the day.

"Let's go, I'm all sweaty ugh" Yelena exclaimed and I followed her back to her room.

This was definitely better than getting beaten up by super soldiers.
