This was purely self indulgent :3

10K words of fluff, served on a silver platter for y'all XD

Things happened, and apparently things happened when Koda was younger, someone returns, and well...let's just say, hm, a little trip? If there are spelling mistakes, ignore them, I mostly wrote this chapter at night (late) since that was really the only time I wasn't busy.

Apologies for the delay in the chapter. It has been quite hectic over here and I've also started my driving course! So pretty soon (a couple of months(three at the most, one at the earliest) depends on how things roll)) I should be getting my drivers license! It's going pretty well, and I can't wait for have some freedom! And going into grade eleven at the end of the month...Jeez. It feels like everything has sneaked up on me recently! But it feels nice, knowing that things are progressing.

I hope you enjoy this chapter, I certainly had fun writing it!

At first it was fine, she could handle the servos which assisted her doing even the smallest of tasks. Then...then it just started to become annoying, she may have to hobble around but even when it came to her bandages, Optimus insisted on changing them to keep Koda from straining herself. She was partially thankful, as it meant she wouldn't have to put any pressure on her thigh when changing the bandage on her calf.

The feeling however, was strange. His feather light touches as he carefully unwrapped the bandages, careful as to not tug or pull harder than needed, the way he apologised everytime the ointment burned painfully as if it was his fault that he caused her pain, the way he gently pressed the cotton bandage over her injuries, holding the fabric in place before wrapping a thin disposable cloth around it, keeping it tight enough to remain in place, but loose enough to not cause any discomfort. Whenever he changed the bandages Koda couldn't help the shiver that ran down her spine at his light, gentle touches.

The first time Optimus had noticed he immediately paused in his action of unwrapping the bandage, optics flashed with worry as he asked, "I didn't hurt you did I?"

Koda waved it off, "It tickles that's all," She replied, allowing herself to lay back on her bed with a soft sigh, though she had to bite her lip to keep herself from giggling at the soft touch as Optimus continued to unwrap the bandage around her calf.

As he continued to clean the healing wounds, wrapping them back up, Optimus rose to his pedes, glancing down at Koda as she remained laid back on her bed with her legs dangling off the side, her eyes were closed and a content smile had formed where a usual pained frown was; over the past few days since she'd gotten hurt.

"What would you like to do?" Optimus inquired curiously.

"You don't need to watch over me like some dog," Koda murmured, pushing herself upright, as she leaned over to grab her crutches she found that Optimus already had them beside her. Despite her words, she allowed him to help steady her on her right foot as she adjusted the crutches into a comfortable position. She found that they caused her right shoulder to ache, she assumed the crutch was right where her flesh became metal, that was her guess at least.

Making it out into the main part of the silo, Koda slowly hopped up the stairs, noting that Ratchet was absent, probably down for some recharge before the base came alive later. Once at the top she wandered over to the kids rec area. Lowering herself down onto the couch was a whole lot easier than getting up, and she was starting to recognize that.

She narrowed her eyes at Optimus as he took a seat in the smaller seat across from the couch, surprised at how he sunk into the cushion. Pressing down carefully Optimus tested the leather, feeling how much give it had as he did not want to break the couch.
