Everything was finally starting to calm down. felicity was home from the hospital and she was doing amazing. Mia's ribs healed nicely and the cut on Char's head was barely a scar. Poor Grace was still very traumatised, but she was going to a therapist at school, and her art was really helping her work through her emotions.
When Felicity was getting better, they decided to tell the girls about them being engaged, and the two could not be more excited. They could not wait for Mia to be their mama, it was all they had been talking about since.
It was now nearly a month after the accident, and Mia and Char were still deciding when to have the wedding. They weren't in a rush, but they didn't want to wait forever. They wanted to be married.
"Hmm, what about November?" Mia asked, looking at a forest venue that had an opening in November. Charlotte's eyes widen.
"Mia, that's in 6 weeks! And there is the Halloween ball in 3 weeks. How do you want to plan a wedding so soon?"
"Baby, breathe for me. It was just a suggestion. We don't have to take it. But if we do, I am sure with the help of everyone, we can do it." Mia smiles at her fiance, tucking a loose hair behind her ear. Charlotte's eyes soften and her heart leaps out of her chest. It's moments like this that remind Char how much she loves Mia.
"Let's do it," Charlotte says, grabbing Mia's hand and kissing the back.
"Yeah?" Mia was surprised that Charlotte agreed.
"Yes. Let's get married. In 6 weeks."

Mia was right, but so was Charlotte. Planning a wedding in 6 weeks was very hard. But they had so many people who could help them get everything ready. Autumn and Marjorie went dress shopping with Charlotte. The two of them talked about it, and Mia said she didn't want the flowy dress, but she did want something fancy, so Reece helped her get in touch with a tailor. When Mia came back from that appointment, she was sure she had found the perfect outfit for the wedding.
Sorcha had helped them plan their flowers. Carly helped with the music. Winter got a photographer. Autumn called the same guy they used for the Halloween party for decor. Reece and Marjorie got in touch with someone for a cake.
It was all going perfectly.
Now, two days before the wedding, it was the couple's last day at work, before they would go on leave. The wedding was on Sunday, and the Monday morning, they would be off to their honeymoon. it was Mia planning the honeymoon, s Charlotte didn't have a clue where they were going, just that they needed their passports.
The two women lay in bed on the peaceful Friday morning. Mia had her arms wrapped around Charlotte, while Chra was resting her head on Mia's chest. Both of them had been awake for a bit, but neither of them wanted to move. They wanted to stay like this, because tomorrow Mia wouldn't be sleeping at home, and they would only see each other when they walked down the aisle.
"Mia?" She has been playing with the hem of Mia's shirt since she woke up. the nerves were starting to settle in. She didn't feel like this with her marriage to Charlie, but she also never loved Charlie as much as she loved Mia.
"Yes, sweetheart?" Mia ran her hands through Charlotte's hair. the motion causing Char to relax a bit.
"Are you nervous?"
"I am. I want it to be so perfect. But even if it isn't, I have you and that's all that matters to me." She says as he places a kiss on Charlotte's forehead. Char smiles and snuggles into Mia, just basking in her warmth.
After a while, both need to get up or they will be late for work. They steal multiple kisses as they get ready for their day. Charlotte's parents have the girls, so they can get everything done and ready without having to worry about anything but the wedding.
In just two days, they would be married. Char couldn't believe they actually pulled it off to plan a full-blown wedding in just six weeks. she was so grateful to have Mia and everyone else in her life. They had all helped her through so much, she never knew how she could thank them.
All day both women got congratulations from the parents and people who could not attend the wedding. They couldn't wait for the day to come so they could enjoy their time together.
It was a semi-enventful day. Besides the parents all saying congratulations, and a few snarky comments from others, Charlotte noticed that Marjorie was acting a bit strange. She had been acting like this for a while now, and Charlotte just couldn't put her finger on it. She tried asking Marjorie about it but was only shot down with an 'I always act like this'.
After work, Mia stopped by the nursery.
"Baby, what are you doing here?" Charlotte asked her, wrapping her arms around Mia's neck.
"I couldn't not see you. I am already not going to see you tomorrow, and I couldn't go almost the whole day without seeing you." Charlotte leaned in and kissed Mia softly. Charlotte melted into Mia's arms. When they pulled away, they smiled at each other, nothing but love in their eyes.
"Oi! Keep it for your honeymoon, we don't need that in the car park!" they heard Marjorie yell. They giggled and pulled back.
"I love you, sweetheart. I can't wait to call you my wife." Mia says as she kisses CAhr one more time.
"I love you too. Now go, before Autumn kills us. I know she wants to go home." They looked over at Autumn who glared at them. Mia gave her one last kiss before they all got into their cars and headed off.
Charlotte was sleeping at Marjorie's and Mia at Autumn's. Just for tradition's sake, they would sleep separately until their wedding.
In just a little bit more than a day, she is going to be Mrs Charlotte Roberts
