Charlotte woke up on Sunday morning from the sun making its way through the curtains. It took her a second to realise it, but the moment she was awake enough, she sat up straight in bed. Her face lit up thinking about the day ahead of her.
That is also when the panic sat in. She had so much she still needed to do. She had to pick up her dress and pray that nothing was wrong with it. She had to get ready, and they had to take photos and make sure that everything was going perfectly.
Before Charlotte's mind could start spiralling, there was a knock on the bedroom door.
"Charlotte? We have to leave to pick up your dress in 30 minutes. There are coffee and breakfast bagels in the kitchen." She took a deep breath, knowing she had everyone to help. It's not on her alone.
"Thank you, Marjorie. I'll be out in a second." She quickly got up and got dressed in something comfortable. She knew they would be moving around a lot, so she would need to be comfortable.
She just wants to see Mia. She already misses her. She can't sleep properly without Mia next to her. She has been sleeping in Mia's clothes the last two nights, just to be able to get some sleep. She smiles at the thought that by the end of the day, Mia will be her wife.
That smile didn't leave her face for even a second as she got ready and made her way to the kitchen for some coffee.
"Well good morning, soon to be, Mrs Roberts." Reece teased as she walked in. Hearing out loud made her smile even more if that's even possible. Marjorie just slaps his arm as she grabs a to-go cup filled with coffee and hands it to Charlotte.
"Come on, love. Let's go get your dress."

"Oh my, Charlotte. It's so perfect." Marjorie tries hiding tears as she looks at Charlotte's dress. She wasn't wrong. It was absolutely stunning. And it fit her perfectly. This was one of the things she was mostly worried about, but it was perfect.
"I wonder how Mia is getting along?" Charlotte says out loud as she gets down from the podium.

"Wow. Mia, this is very... you. She is going to love it." Autumn says as Mia walks out of the room. She looks down at her pantsuit. She really does hope Charlotte loves it.
"You think so?" she asks, looking down at herself.
"Look, a wedding is about you and Charlotte making a promise to each other to love and care for one another, no matter what. The way you do it doesn't matter. It's all about you two."
"Wow, Autumn. I think this is the most emotion I have ever seen from you." Mia jokes, causing Aut to roll her eyes and start walking away.
"Wait. I am sorry. I'm just nervous. I want this to be perfect for Char. She deserves this. She deserves the world, and I will do everything I can to give that to her. You understand, right?"
"I do." Mia gave Autumn a small smile before getting up to go get the rest of her things done before it was time for photos. She couldn't wait for all this to be over, all she wants is to walk down that aisle and be able to call Charlotte her wife.

When Charlotte arrived at the venue, it was even more beautiful than she ever thought it would be. Fairy lights hanging between the trees. Candles in glass jars were laid out down the aisle. The arch was draped with a beautiful piece of fabric and outlined with flowers and leaves, mixed with more fairy light in between.
Marjorie had to usher Charlotte away because she could see Autumn's car in the distance and she knew Mia was not allowed to see her just yet. So Marjorie hurried her into one of the tents that were set up for them to get ready.
"So she's here?" Charlotte asked Marjorie nervously. Her friend smiles at her softly.
"Yes. I saw Autumn's car coming in."
"But was she in the car? What if she wasn't? What if she changed her mind? What if..." Charlotte started hyperventilating at the thought.
"Charlotte, breathe. Do you want me to go see if she's here? Will that make you feel better?" Charlotte just nodded her head as she sat down catching her breath. Marjorie nodded and slipped out of the tent, going to the none next door.
"Kock Kock. Everyone ready?" Marjorie asked as she walked into the tent. The moment she laid eyes on Mia, she gasped.
"Mia. Wow. You look incredible." Mia turned to Marjorie when she came in, a smile on her face.
"Is Char okay?" She asks with a bit of worry in her eyes.
"She is okay. Just a little nervous. but she is just as ready for this as you are." Mia took a shaky breath as she looked back into the mirror.
"Now scram, Marjorie. I have to finish her hair." Autumn says, waving Marjorie away. She just chuckled and slipped out. Just before she could step back into Charlotte's tent, she saw Grace and Felicity running up to her.
"Hey, girls! Are you excited for today?" The two jumped up and down chanting 'Yes, Yes' over and over. She could see Charlotte's parents coming up to her, smiles on their faces.
"Hi there you two. Are you ready for this?"
"We are. We've never seen our girl look so happy. Mia is so amazing to her." Marjorie nodded at Char's mother's words.
"Girls, you want to see your mom?" She smiled at them, taking their hands and leading them inside. The girls run up to their mom, and she smiles as she bends down to hug them.
"Oh, my girls. You look so pretty!"She kisses them both on the head, hugging them close to her. Marjorie looked at the scene as her heart tugged. She would never have that.
Charlotte's Mom poes her head into the tent. As soon as she sees Charlotte, tears start brimming in her eyes.
"Oh, my dealing. Look at you."
"Mom, you can't start crying now, then I am going to cry."
"Right, Sorry. You look so gorgeous. Well, I hope you are ready. It's time." Charlotte takes a deep breath before nodding. Looking into the mirror once more, fixing a strand of her hair.
"Okay, so Mia is going to walk down first, then it's you. Are you ready?" Marjorie asks her, taking her hand.
"I am."
"Good. Let's get you married, love."
