"oh, there you are! i haven't seen you in a long time!"
a sigh left your lips when you heard the voice of the pro hero, who landed next to you.
"missed me?"
"actually yes! where have you been this whole time, dollface?"
"here. doing what i normally do"
"really? the last time i saw you around was... months ago!"
"well, my shift changed! and so did the hours i can be seen outside"
"flew by your house the other day and noticed all the curtains were shut... i thought you moved out"
"safety reasons"
"did something happen?"
"one day i was sitting on the balcony, and i saw this dude on the opposite building doing something on his phone. got scared that he was taking pictures and videos of me, so i closed all the curtains"
hawks listened, eyes falling on the grocery bag hanging from your fingers.
"want me to carry that for you?"
"no, thank you! it's not heavy" you smiled softly.
"what if i don't take no as an answer?"
"you creep! you just want to see what i bought!" you said, gently nudging him with your elbow.
"what? do i look like a person who cares about your groceries?"
"yes"
"alright, guilty" he sad, rolling his eyes.
you laughed as you shook your head, before giving him the bag.
"damn, how many candies are in here? oh, and chocolates"
"since tomorrow is my day off, i decided to stay up late to have a movie night with my boyfriend"
"can i join?"
"absolutely not" you said, looking at him dead in the eye.
"jeez..."
he kept on looking through everything you bought, his eyes widening when he saw some specific boxes.
"black... hair dye?" he questioned, as he stared at you.
"you can say it was an... intrusive thought"
"why three boxes, though? that's too much!"
"bought two got one free"
he slowly nodded, his eyes moving from the box in his hand to your hair.
"so, next time i see you, your hair is gonna be black?"
