dabi was back to that alley he first met you, a hood over his head hiding his face, along with a black face mask. truth is, he had been there everyday since the day he saw you.

he couldn't stop thinking about you. especially after he noticed the oh-so famous hawks walking you home. he felt tempted to follow you, but the last thing he wanted was to get caught.

he knew your routine by heart; you were leaving your apartment complex at exactly 8:30am and you were entering your work's building at 8:50

around 12:30pm, you were walking in the cafeteria next to your workplace to eat lunch at the seat next to the window. you were staying there for an hour before returning back to your office, from where you were leaving at 17:15pm.

most of the days you were walking back home immediately after work. but the days you wanted to go to the grocery store, dabi knew you were spending around an hour there.

he was following you everywhere and watching your every move. he even knew your favorite snack from the many times you were purchasing it in a week.

you, on the other hand, started getting suspicious that someone was stalking you after a week of it happening. you could feel eyes burning holes in your body, but everytime you turned around, no one was there.

one day, though, your stalker allowed you to catch him.

"didn't think you were this smart to realize" dabi said, as he lowered his face mask.

"why are you following me?"

"can't i just know what the pretty girl i met in this alley is doing?"

"by stalking me?" you asked, voice laced with disbelief.

"what? you wanted me to knock at your door?"

you rolled your eyes at his sarcasm, a gasp getting stuck in your throat when he grabbed your face.

"don't give me attitude, now, pretty"

"what do you want from me?" you asked, looking up at him.

"nothing in particular"

"then what?"

"you're kinda interesting! and no, i'm not talking about where you work or what you eat for lunch. or what you buy from the grocery store"

your eyes slightly widened at that. you knew he was following you, but you didn't expect him to actually watch your every move.

"just how far did you take your stalking? that's beyond creepy!"

"do you want me to stop?"

"yes! but, will you?"

"i will. but i'll wait for you everyday in this alley, too" he said, his finger touching your cheek.

you stayed silent, your eyes locked on his face. his eyes were examining your features, his lips stretching into a small smile.

"are you scared of me?"

"it depends. if you try to kill me again, then yes i am scared"

"otherwise, you're not?"

"i'm not"

"oh, what a brave girl you are, pretty" he chuckled, caressing your cheek.

your eyes couldn't stop staring at his. it felt like those turquoise irises were putting you under some spell that you couldn't and didn't want to break free from.

before you knew it, he was pulling away from you; his hands leaving your face just to rest by his sides. but, his eyes were still watching you— a beautiful, yet dangerous, sparkle in them.

"i'd love to keep on staring at your pretty face, but i'm choosing to let you go back home. that shift of yours sounds exhausting"

"i'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow" he added.

"is that your way of saying you'll follow me around?"

"i said i won't!"

"i may not look like it, but i keep my promises, princess" he continued, winking at you.

a reddish hue dusted your cheeks and you quickly looked away from him, so he wouldn't notice.

 but he did.

"you better prove it to me, then"
