you woke up with sweat covering your body. you peeled yourself away from the covers, slightly sitting up on your bed.
you noticed that your room was slightly colder from the moment you fell asleep, yet you didn't remember turning the heating down.
you got up from the bed and went to open the door, only to come face to face with a chest.
"you're up!"
"and you're still here"
touya wrapped his arm around you, as he pushed you back into your room.
"outside of here is colder. it'll only worsen your fever"
"why are you still here...?"
"to take care of you"
"com'on, back to bed" he added, in which you obeyed.
"did you turn down the heating?"
"yes. came here to check on you, and you were all sweating and unable to breathe"
he gave you the thermometer, before he walked towards the door again.
"where are you going?"
"you have to eat"
when he came back to your room, it was with a tray in his hands. he placed it on the nightstand next to your bed, before taking the thermometer from you.
"who am i burning for making you sick?"
"no one!"
"a colleague or that damned bird?"
"colleague" you said, coughing.
"guess i'm not burning anyone, after all"
"leave that poor man alone"
"once he leaves you alone, yes"
touya took the bowl of soup in his hands, as he sat on the bed.
"where did you find soup? and the oranges?"
"had toga transform into a random to go out and buy fruits. and the soup is leftovers from yesterday. i don't know which idiot made it, but it's good enough and safe for you to eat"
"remind me to thank himiko when you give me back my phone"
"you realized i took it?"
"didn't take long after i saw you were still here"
touya stayed with you that night. he did all he could to take care of you. he even turned down all heating and acted as your personal heater, as you laid on his chest.
his fingers were in your hair while you slept, his eyes locked on your face. he kissed your forehead as he held you closer.
