The Human stood across from Undyne, waiting for her first move.

Her inaction only infuriated Undyne even more. Of all of the monsters that she had chosen to kill, Undyne was the only one
whom the Human didn't attack straight away. Maybe it was because she was cautious, knowing that Undyne wouldn't be as simple to beat as the others. Maybe it was because she was making a plan of action that would bring Undyne to her knees.

Or maybe she didn't think Undyne was strong enough to fight against her.

That thought would be the metaphorical straw that broke the camel's back.

Surging forward with her spear, Undyne smashed it into the ground where the Human once stood.
In what seemed like a blink of an eye, the Human had sidestepped her attack and was in the process of swinging her knife at her throat.

Undyne grinned unconsciously. Despite being put up against a clearly maniacal person, she still loved the thrill of a battle.

Letting go of her spear, Undyne stepped backward, dodging the Human's strike. She then raised her hand, and magic swirled about in the air, forming blue spears around her. They all took aim at the human while Undyne's original spear pulled itself out of the ground and flew back into her hand.

She gripped her spear and charged at the human once again, the spears around her rushing ahead to divert the Human's attention.

The Human, unintimidated by Undyne's flashy attack, ran towards the barrage, diving, hopping, and cutting away the spears that pestered her. All while keeping her eyes locked on the approaching Undyne.

The Human leaped up into the air, her dagger pointing down at her opponent.

Undyne summoned more spears and directed them toward the falling Human hoping to catch them off guard.

It didn't help much as the Human twisted gracefully through the air, managing to weave through the attack and somehow still realigning herself for a landing strike.

Seeing that her attack failed to divert the Human, Undyne quickly raised her spear to block her attack.

The loud clash of two magical weapons rang out in the abyss, sound waves bouncing back and forth off the opaque walls in the form of echoes and sparks bounced off of the points of contact

The strength of the strike was strong enough to push Undyne back slightly, her metal boots screeching against the floor as she slid. Even though she managed to block the attack, the reverberations still stung her hand.

They bounced away and landed on the ground in a crouching position, preparing to attack again.

She quickly took off, her feet only pushing off the floor for just enough time to accelerate her even faster.

Undyne struck the butt of her spear against the ground, causing bright blue circles to form just under the Human's feet. The blue circle quickly erupted upwards in the form of a spear, only barely missing the Human as they rushed forward.

More spears appear around the Human, surrounding them in a circular formation that quickly closed in on her.

Still unfazed, the Human once again jumped over the enclosing spears and continued on her deadset path.

Undyne growled in frustration. It seemed like whatever she could come up with, the Human would easily dodge without a second thought, all without breaking eye contact and still trying to swing at her.

'I need to switch things up if I want to hit her'

Undyne tensed up her muscles and prepared as the Human quickly approached, waiting for a perfect moment to counter.
