Nancy and Jonathan continued looking for the ignition cable as Will stood by and watched them. I stood by Max as I heard a distant rumbling sound, me and Max looked up at the roof. Pounding footsteps could be heard.

"Mike" Max warned, he looked up at the skylight glass as it began to crack, at it's breaking point.
"Got it" Jonathon stated as he got the cable.
"Nancy!" Mike yelled.
They all turned there attention to us before looking up and noticing the creature on the roof.
"Come on!" Mike shouted grabbing Els hand as as we ran up the stairs and away from the glass that was about to break.
The glass finally broke as a huge fleshy monster fell into the mall before letting out a roar.

"Griswold family this is scoops troops do you copy over!" Dustin yelled repeatedly into Mikes walkie in the middle of the mall.
Me, Max, El, and Mike all hid behind a small bar on one side of the mall and the other Lucas, Nancy, Jonathan, and Will hid behind the car.
Dustin's voice became muffled as the monster picked up the walkie with one of it's tentacles and roared into the speaker before sending it flying in the air before landing beside the car.
I looked over at Max and she looked at me before we held hands and looked forward again, all of us were panting in fear from the creature.
I peaked over to see the monster gaining one of the pieces that was in El's leg and roar loudly as I slouched back down breathing heavily.
We heard it roar and hiss behind us causing us to duck as it went a different direction.
"It's turned away, if we go up the stairs know we can make it" Mike stated
"What about the others?" I asked
"They'll find a way, right know we need to get el away from the mind flayer" He said as we nodded
