Y/n and Will sat in the back of and ambulance rapped around a towel to keep themselves warm. You would would say they were happy that the mind flayer was gone but they weren't happy.
Will Didn't know where his mom was or if she was safe and y/n... A person she thought she hated died saving her. So to say they were happy was a mistake to be made/
Trying to keep y/n's sobs down Will rubbed her back comfortably and let her cry on his shoulder, he didn't know what it felt to lose someone because really the only people he loved were his mom friend's and of course y/n.
Having her sobbing her heart out made his heart break, seeing her sad put a frown on his face and in a blink of an eye he was by her side comforting her in any way possible.
Once her sobs stopped he looked down at her to see her looking in a different direction causing his attention to go there.
In the distance they could see Joyce, his mom, frantically looking around for him. He looked back at y/n and she nodded her head towards Joyce. With that he got up and sprinted to his mother engulfing her in a hug both of them sobbing slightly.

Y/n got up and walked over to her sister, sitting down beside her but not saying a word.
"what do you think's gonna happen with mom and Neil?" Max asked quietly
Y/n shrugged her shoulders "I-" She stopped mid-sentence as she saw El walking around, probably searching for Hopper. She looked to Joyce to see her looking at El with sad eyes.
That only meant one thing... Hopper was gone, and that meant El didn't have any one else to go with, and that caused a problem.
"Y/n, Y/n!" Max said snapping y/n out of her trance, she turned to her sister.
"Yes" She asked
"What do you think?" Max asked
"About what?" She asked clueless
"Mom, and Neil" She said
"Oh yea, well if Neil doesn't have his son then he is soon to leave mom" Y/n said
"You think" Max asked gloomily
"I know" She said back.
"We better prepare ourselves for alcohol and being ignored" Max said gloomily causing y/n to frown.
"Yea, We should... But were going to be there for each other, right?" Y/n asked her sister
"I made a promise" Max said causing y/n to smile lightly.
But little did y/n know is that her sister wouldn't be of any help, and she wouldn't keep the promise that she made. And that was going to cause more pain than ever.
