It had been about a week since the battle of star court mall and everything was fine other than a few things. Mom and Neil divorced, he left, Mom started drinking and smoking as me and Max suspected.
It is know 7:50 and I am know heading over to Wills because he was taking me on a date, honestly I couldn't wait. I headed out of my bedroom past Max who had headphones on and almost made it past my drunken mother, but to no avail she saw me and walked to me.
"Were do you think your g-going" She slurred
"To Wills" I said casually, going to open the door but she stopped me.
"That boyfriend of yours?" She asked again 'this is going to take awhile' I thought in my head.
"Hey mom I found a cute man on the internet" Max said, mom looked at her and walked over leaving me with success in getting out.
'thank you' I mouthed
'you owe me' she smirked, as I groaned and exited out of my house grabbing my bike and heading for Wills.
As I got there I nocked and Joyce answered with a smile.
"Hey honey, come inside" She said ushering me into the house, something unusual caught my eyer, it was a box, there were two of them.
I ignored it and walked over to Will's room, standing by the door frame I watched him put a jacket on.
"Like your hair" I said entering his room causing him to jump with fright before smiling at the sight of me.
"You look gorgeous" He said causing me to blush.
"Not to bad yourself" I say coming up and running a hand through his hair.
"I just combed it" He said fixing it.
"I like your hair better as a bowl cut though " I said (I love The bowl cut but his normal hairstyle is amazing, get what I mean)
"I know I do to, but mom made me do it to look nice" He whispered the last part as I giggled.
"Ok, we should go" I said and he nodded
As we headed out Joyce stopped us.
"Hope you have a good time and remember" She said pointing at him.
"10:00 at the least, I get it mom" He said and hugged her, As I walked out the door I didn't realize Joyce giving Will a look.
"Hey aren't we getting on your bike?" I questioned
"No this is only a little bit aways" He said as we began walking. Wills hand latched onto mine and we started swinging them forward and backward.
I would say they live in a gorgeous spot, were the woods are, beaty lies ahead. I guess that's why he is taking me here. He told me we would go somewhere but didn't tell me where.
"Okay close your eyes" he says and I do as he says, We walk for a little bit before stopping "Open" He said and I opened to see the most beautiful site I've ever seen.
"Byers you have outdone yourself" I said staring in awe as he chuckled.
In front of us was a beautiful valley/River/Lake that I could stare at for years, And laying down in the scenery was a picnic basket and blanket.
