~Y/n POV~
The bushes scratch against my arms as I crouch lower, barely breathing.
Max and I were once again hidden in the bushes, watching Vecna's house. From our position, we had a clear view of the yard as the new children he'd captured trailed behind him, laughing loudly, following him, and Holly, inside.
Our plan was set.
Holly waits for him to go get more of the children then we find a way out. Simple.
At least, that's what we kept telling ourselves. Simple didn't always mean easy, not here, not with him.
"Okay, now we wait." Max said, lifting the binoculars from her face.

It had been almost thirty-seven minutes, and Vecna had still not left the house.
"Seriously you would have thought he would leave right now." I say, rolling my eyes. I was currently lying on my back, staring up at the trees while Max kept watch.
All of a sudden, Max slammed her hand onto my stomach, causing me to jolt upright immediately, clutching my side with a sharp gasp.
"What the hell?!" I whisper yelled, but she quickly dismissed it and pointed toward the creel house.
Holly was coming outside. Toward us. While Vecna was still inside.
"What is she doing?" I ask Max, both of us scrambling to our feet and moving deeper into the woods.
"I don't know." Max replied.
We waited until she came fully into sight before stepping out to meet her.
"What are you doing here?" Me and Max both asked hurriedly.
"We need to talk." Holly said.
"No we don't, Holly the plan—"
"Was to wait for Henry to leave. I know." Holly cut me off. I immediately began scanning the area, making sure no one had followed her. "But he was talking and saying all this creepy stuff and—"
"Did anyone see you come here?" I cut in.
"No, I was careful. Please, just listen." She said, finally grabbing our full attention. "I know why Henry kidnapped us. He's going to somehow use us to draw another world to ours, to earth."
"Draw another world? I don't understand what that means." Max said.
"I second that." I add, watching Holly closely.
"Henry says it's to save earth, but I think it's really to destroy it. Whatever he's planning he's going to do it tomorrow. We have to get out of Camazots right now." Holly said.
"We'll never make it. As soon as he realizes that you're gone, he'll track you down with his powers and catch us." Max responded.
Before Holly could reply, a twig snapped behind her. All of our gazes snapped in that direction.
"You said no one saw you." I said quickly, eyes locked on where the sound came from.
"And no one did. I'm positive." She responded, though fear flickered in her eyes.
Max cautiously stepped toward a fallen log, with Holly and me following close behind. As we looked around it, a boy came into view.
I grabbed him by his vest and yanked him up.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked.
"Derek. Who the hell are you?" Derek repeated my words.
"What are you doing here, dipshit?" Holly asked, quite rudely if you asked me.
