Y/n POV:

The never ending rivalry between the water hashira and the wind hashira. The water pillar is a shy and quiet guy while the wind pillar is very loud and aggressive. My bro needs to get those anger issues checked to the point I can't even talk to him because I'm too intimidated by him. As for the water pillar, he's too shy and quiet and even too distant to approach. Like wth? To the point that even the master assigned me to talk to both of them so I can make them friends before he dies. He'd love to see that, according to him.

At the Wind hashira's mansion:

"What? I didn't tell you to go here. Leave me alone!" He was about to slam the door in your face but then you blocked it with your foot. "Wait...it's the master's orders. I know you want your space so why would I want to ruin that? So please, for the master's sake..." You begged while he sighed, looking irritated. "Fine. I'm allowing you to go in just because The master requested it. If he didn't, I'm gonna kick you out without any mercy." He said coldly but you went in anyway.

You were complimenting his house but then he ignored you. Oh well, who even wants his reply anyway. You tried everything to get his attention or at least but then you came back to the master, sad since you didn't complete your mission on getting the water hashira and him together as friends.

A few days later:

You were walking in a random forest but then you heard some fighting noises on the other side of where you were.

You then rushed to see the commotion but then saw the wind hashira and Water hashira fighting. It looked like they were killing each other so you were having second thoughts on stopping them. What if both of them kill you for interrupting their violence session? But in the end, you decided to confront both of them.

"Please! Can you two stop! You're gonna kill each other at this point!" You exclaimed while Giyu looked at you with a confused look. "Ehh...we were just-." He was abt to say something while Sanemi cut him off. "What the hell? Mind your own business, L/n. This is a moment between hashiras and you're not one so don't interrupt us." Sanemi said while you gulped.

"YOU'RE GONNA KILL EACH OTHER AT THIS RATE! STOP IT PLEASE!" You begged while they gave a confused look. "The hell you're talking about? We're just training! We're not gonna kill each other! But I wish I could do that to his ego..." He mumbled while giyu looked at you. "Sorry for the misunderstanding..." His voice was not loud enough for you to hear but then he grabbed your hand. "Uh Ms. L/n, Let me take you home." Giyu said while you looked at him and blushed.

"What? She's supposed to go with me!" Sanemi then grabbed you while Giyu looked stunned. "Shinazugawa, I'm sure she's pretty terrified of you after you almost hit her." Giyu's grasp tightens while Sanemi looks more pissed. "It was a frickin 'reflex and accident, okay? She literally scared the heck out of me one time! It was her fault! Now, give her to me!" Sanemi then grabbed you which made you feel uncomfortable.

Yes, just as you expected, the 2 hashiras were fighting over YOU?!!? Like you didn't ask for this! You just wanted them to stop fighting which was a frickin misunderstanding but now, you feel your body getting torn. You of course didn't want to intervene because you knew better to not interrupt then arguing again. But of course, it got so bad to the point they were already trying to take you like kids fighting over a stuffed teddy so you actually had enough and jumped away from both of them.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO?! WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, YOU TWO ARE GROWN MEN, NOT KIDS FIGHTING OVER A STUFF ANIMAL!" You yelled while massaging the spot that hurt. They then looked at each other and stepped away. "Whatever! It was him who started it! He wanted to take you to his house!" Sanemi mumbled while looking away. "It doesn't matter who started it but all I know you two are acting immature. Now apologize to me and one another." You demanded while Sanemi crossed his arms. Giyu then bowed down and said sorry. "

"You know what, I won't force you to say sorry if you don't want to. But please, I have to go home already." You then walked out of there. Youb then saw Sanemi giving you a glare which you didn't mind.

You kinda looked back and saw Sanemi holding his head in disappointment which was cute and all. While you saw Giyu following you. At first you thought it was creepy but then you told him to come out but then you realized he was just giving your haori back which you thanked him for. You then went into your house to tell your crow about everything that happened with the 2 hashiras. You then realized that You lost your hairpin but you decided to look for it tomorrow or ask Shinazugawa if he saw it.

Little do you know, Sanemi was working up the courage to give it back to you...
