CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

"We should probably get out of bed at some point today." I mused breathlessly as Elijah scattered kisses across my neck, his fingers buried deep inside of me.

"Probably," Elijah hummed against my skin and I threw my head back in complete bliss.

"Seriously, Elijah." I attempted to be stern but it came out as a whimper, "Rebekah might need my help."

"Why are you talking about my sister..." He nipped at my neck, "when the only name on your lips right now should be mine?"

He emphasized his point by bringing me to the edge of release and I whimpered, "Please, Elijah."

He let out a sound of approval, "Now, that is more like it."

Three blissful minutes later, I was panting as Elijah untied my wrists from the bedframe. I blinked up at him with a lazy smile, my heart stuttering when he pressed gentle kisses to both of my wrists. He smiled down at me fondly as he helped me sit up and passed me a glass of water from the nightstand.

Our sweet moment was cut short when an impatient fist knocked on my bedroom door, "If you two are finally done, I have some important matters that we must discuss."

"Niklaus, patience is a virtue," Elijah chastised his brother as he pulled on his immaculate suit.

"It's three in the afternoon, brother." Klaus huffed from the other side of the door, "I have been patient all day. I know that Emilia has a lot of energy but even she must need a rest by now!"

I felt my cheeks flame as I changed into a dress, "Fuck you, Klaus."

"Thank you for the offer, love, but I have matters to discuss with Elijah, if you don't mind."

"I didn't mean it like that." I hissed through gritted teeth, throwing open the bedroom to scowl at him. Elijah came to stand beside with a passive expression. A dangerous amusement glistened in Klaus' eyes and I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

"You wanted to talk?" Elijah asked as he adjusted the top button of his shirt.

"Yes, come and join me in the study," Klaus smiled, clasping his brother's arm, "Oh, Emilia, you might want to turn your phone on. Rebekah has been trying to get hold of you all day."

"Shit," I whispered as the brothers walked away. I frantically looked around for my phone, which I eventually found on the floor next to my hastily discarded dress from yesterday.

"Finally!" Rebekah huffed when I called her, "I thought that you'd got yourself kidnapped again but Nik informed me that you were just busy banging our brother. He didn't say which one."

I rolled my eyes, "What do you need, Rebekah?"

"I need you to go and find Finn." She said and I frowned in confusion.

"Where is he?"

"Why the bloody hell would I know? That's why I want you to find him!"

I let out a frustrated groan, "What I meant to ask was can you give me a general idea of where he is? Do I need to search Mystic Falls or the entirety of America?"

"Yes he's in Mystic Falls," Rebekah answered impatiently, "But he's been disappearing in the day and I'm not sure where."

I sighed, "Alright, Rebekah, I'll go and find him."

"When you track him down, I need you to warn him: Sage is in town."

"Who's Sage?"

Rebekah let out a dark chuckle, "The girl that Finn was in love with 900 years ago. You better watch out, blondie, if word gets out about your kiss, she won't be very happy."
