Jack had skipped the basketball game last week, owing to the fact she didn't like sports and didn't want to see Spider but apparently she missed a lot by doing so. Malakai had stormed out and quit the team mid game and Harper had publicly dumped Dusty for shaming her for 'wanting to have sex too much'.

So when Jack arrived at the art room used for SLTs classes she was confused to find a note on the door telling her that the class would be held in the gymnasium that day. She made her way there and joined her brother's side as the rest of the class arrived and were instructed to line up by Jojo.

"All righty," the teacher began once everyone was there, "Thank you all for showing up today." Her eyes scanned the faces of the group, "hang on, we're missing Dusty,"

"Yeah, he's not coming," Spider told her.

"Well, I saw him this morning. He should be here." said Jojo before sighing lightly and returning to the lesson, "So, uh, we're going to be playing a game called Stuck in the Mud." She told them, "You might be familiar with it. If you get tagged, you're stuck and you can't move again unless someone crawls between your legs and sets you free."

"Okay, why?" Sasha questioned.

"Because why not? It could be fun." Miss Obah shrugged, "Amerie, you're 'it'. If Amerie gets you all stuck in five minutes, I think I'll give her, I don't know...20 bucks?"

Amerie, who'd previously looked bored at the thought of playing the game was suddenly interested.

"Okay, laps let's go."

The class didn't move and Ant spoke up, "Miss, uh, we're not dressed to sweat." He pointed out, reaching out and ruffled Darren's leather skirt.

"Well, I don't care what you're dressed for." said Jojo, "you're all going to start running now, or you'll be running after school. Your choice."

There was a collective sigh before they all began to jog laps around the room to warm up.

It wasn't long before a few people actually got into the game, though Darren purposefully allowed Amerie to get them so they didn't have to run, others actually tried to avoid the girl when she began to tag people. Jack, however, was not one of those people and was extremely uninterested in running away from Amerie so she just walked around idly until she felt the girl tap her shoulder.

"Okay, new rule," Jojo called out, "anyone wearing a checkered shirt is now automatically stuck for the rest of the game."

"What the hell, you can't just change the rules," Spider argued as he dodged Amerie and ran away from her again.
