By missing Amerie's party, Jack had also missed a shitload of drama. For one Malakai had attended the party and gotten so horrendously drunk he tried to jump off of the girl's roof until Missy's brother stopped him and got him down before he could hurt himself. For two, Amerie had almost hooked up with Dusty which was thwarted when Harper had crashed the party and thrown a full cake on the pair while they were mid make-out session. Jack was honestly glad she hadn't gone. From the apparent state Spider had been in by the end of the night, evidenced by the many drunk texts and voice notes she'd received but not opened, the drama would have only been worse with her there.
But apparently the end of the party was not the end of the mess as the next day a message was found under one of the tables in the SLT classroom and an anonymous call had been made to DOCs about the graffiti which claimed that Jojo was sleeping with Amerie.
Since their class was cancelled for the day while the cops talked to Jojo and Amerie, the students in SLTs had a free period and ended up all gathered together around a table in the quad—minus Malakai who wasn't in school and Harper who was standing alone a few metres away, leaning against a tree.
"What do you reckon ay?" Ca$h asked the group as he walked over to the table, joining his sister's side.
Spider shrugged, "I mean, it makes sense. Jojo's a clit banger. She's always asking Amerie to stay back after class." He said and made a scissoring motion with his fingers. Jack made a disgusted face but didn't comment.
"Yeah, to tidy up. Not to get some trim. Jesus." Darren scoffed, "This whole thing is bullshit."
"Why do you think the person who made the accusation wants to stay anonymous?" Sasha pointed out the obvious signs that the accusation was false.
"If someone's made this up, it's a messed up thing to do." said Missy before looking over her shoulder at Harper who was standing away from everyone else, leaning against a tree.
"Yeah, but why would someone even do that?" Ant questioned. Spider shifted and clicked his tongue before looking over at Harper, "Yeah, nice one Harps," he called out, "Really outdone yourself this time."
"Leave it man," said Dusty, "at least SLTs is cancelled."
Everyone seemed to unanimously agree that it had been her who'd done the graffiti but Jack disagreed. Harper didn't seem angry enough at Amerie to do something so serious to get back at her.
"Oi," Jack was pulled from her thoughts when Dusty alerted the group to Amerie's presence as she walked past them with her mum. She paused by the main entrance where Jojo was being escorted from the building by a police officer.
"That's what happens when you scissor a student," Spider commented coldly as they watched Jojo be escorted to her car.
After that the group dispersed and Jack walked over to Harper, partially wanting to confirm her suspicions that it wasn't her and also wanting to avoid speaking to Spider who'd stepped towards her but she walked off before he could open his mouth.
