Jack was pretty sure she'd never seen Spider's face so much in her life as when she returned to school to see that there was quite literally hundreds of posters with his face on stuck up in and around the building to promote his campaign for school captain. She didn't even realise he was taking it that seriously but apparently she was wrong, though she wasn't a fan of the Cumlords vibes.

During one of their free study periods, Jack sat with her brother, Harper and Darren in the library since Quinni hadn't come back to school yet, Malakai was talking to Rowan and Amerie was doing whatever is is Amerie does.

"'Each party's assigned a seat in the lower house. The party with the majority seats win.'" Harper read out from a political science textbook, earning a sigh from Ca$h.

"Who cares. They're all tossers shitting their pants in Engadine Maccas anyway. I'm never voting for any of them."

His declaration caused Darren to look up from their laptop and Jack suddenly remembered what it was she forgot to do when she got out of jail, "You have to vote."

"What? No you don't."

"Yes you do Dougie." Jack told him, backing up Darren who she knew was right, though she was a bit of a hypocrite considering she wasn't registered to vote either when she was supposed to be.

"Did you not register when you turned 18?" Ca$h shook his head and Darren turned to Jack, "What about you?"

"Uh, nope." Jack muttered, "but in my defence, I was in jail when I turned 18 and then I sort of forgot about it once I was out."

"Oh my god," Darren groaned in exasperation, "they're going to send you both back to jail."

Harper's suddenly spun around in her seat facing the siblings, "You're both 18." She realised and Jack cast a glance at her brother, unsure about what the girl was about to say.

Turns out, she wanted either one or both of them to move out with her which she explained as they made their way down the hallway after their free was over.

"I've been looking for places to rent, but no one wants me 'cause I'm not 18." She explained to them, not noticing the hesitant expressions on  the pairs faces, both of them knowing that they still had Chook on their backs about owing him.

"That's illegal," Darren informed, "I looked into it when I wanted to move out of mum's."

Harper nodded, "yeah, but landlords and real estate agents are abortions of Satan and I've been trying to get a fake ID. But now I'm thinking, what if we all move in together? Wouldn't that be sick? The four of us in our own place."

"Wait, I'm obsessed with this idea," Darren agreed looking over at Ca$h, "I mean, I've basically been crashing at yours every night. And it would mean we won't have to listen to Nan and Roger's live sex shows anymore."
