Caitlan's POV:

Full Moon tonight. It's Evie's first one. "I know we always spend the Full Moon together sweetheart, but why not have a girly night at Evie's? It is her first one, and I know you've never spent a night away from me but I'll still be here in the morning." Mum suggested. "Caitlan darling we'll both be fine" she added, seeing my anxious face and she brought me into a hug.

I packed a bag with my pyjamas, some freshly made seaweed cordial (I made plenty for mum of course), and Golden Girls for a little girly watch. I gave mum a hug and kiss, "I'll miss you mum." I whispered, "I'll miss you too my little starfish, but I can't wait to hear all about it tomorrow" mum replied and I popped to the grocery store to get some snacks, and then the cafe to get some seafood.

On the way out of the cafe, I bumped into Erik. "Hey, Caitlan." He smiled. "Hey." I replied. "Been to Mako lately?" He asked. "Nope. See ya later." I tried walking away, Erik grabbed my arm, I saw David look concerned, but I smiled to him to say it's ok. "Caitlan, we're on the same side. We're both merpeople. Mermen might have a bad reputation, but I'm one of the good guys." He said. "If you say so." I bluntly said. "What's going on?" We heard, Joe was stood behind us. "I hope you're not harassing the customers, newbie" he warned and Erik let go of my arm. "Not at all. Caitlan's a friend. Right Caitlan?" Erik smiled, I feigned one in return "right." And I left.

I went to Evie's. "What's this?" She asked. "Girls night. It's about time I had a girly sleepover. Plus it's your first Full Moon. I've brought Golden Girls and plenty of snacks." I smiled showing the seafood, ice cream and cheesecake amongst other stuff. "Sounds good to me. Look at you growing up, your first sleepover." Evie teased and we laughed. "Zac's gone camping with his dad, Cam and Erik on Mako, so will be good to have a girly night" Evie smiled. "On a Full Moon? I really don't trust Erik, now that he knows about Mako." I said quietly, "me neither" Evie whispered.

As we headed in, Sirena, Ondina and Mimi joined us. "What are you doing here?" Evie asked. "It's your first Full Moon. We wanted to keep you company." Sirena smiled, the five of us went in Evie's and shut the curtains.

"What were you saying about Erik?" Ondina asked suspiciously. "Just that I don't trust him." I shrugged and told them what happened at the cafe. "I think David's brother has a crush on you" Sirena smiled. Me and Evie looked at each other and burst into laughter. "Oh I know he does. But that's a very long story." I said and poured us all some cordial. "Freshly made by yours truly." I said as we enjoyed the cordial.

Carly then came in, she wondered why Sirena, Ondina and Mimi were here so I said they were helping me look after Evie as she's not feeling too well. Carly opened up her case of nail varnish and I put Golden Girls on. Mimi and Ondina didn't know what it was. Sirena watched a few episodes one time with me, mum, Nixie and Lyla. "You've never seen Golden Girls?" Carly asked. "My mum said they don't have a tv on the yacht. They watch the world as they sail instead." I smiled as the six of us painted our nails.

Me and Mimi had a vision of Mako, her and Ondina then headed there. I sat outside for a bit of fresh air. There was commotion coming from Evie's. I ran in, Evie was acting like a child, looking for 'Zaccy' - ohhhh great, someone got hit by the power of the Full Moon. "Sirena are you ok to handle this? I should go alert mum and head to Mako." I whispered. "Yeah, I got this" Sirena said.

I snuck out so Carly didn't see me and I swam home. Mum was reading in the Grotto. "Caitlan sweetheart, what's wrong?" She asked panicked, I filled her in with everything - Zac camping on Mako with Erik, mine and Mimi's vision and Evie exposed to the Full Moon. "I wanted to let you know. I'm going to head to Ondina and Mimi on Mako. Make sure they're okay." I told mum. "What are you waiting for? Just be careful." I gave mum a kiss and said I'll be back in the morning.
