Caitlan's POV:

Me and mum are sat on the roof, brainstorming different potion ideas we could experiment to make our own mermaids cosmetics (just for us and the others of course). "What about face masks?" I suggested. "I like that idea. What ingredients though?" Mum asked. "Sea slime, South Pacific Seagrass, ocean eucalyptus and a drop of jellyfish essence?" I said. "I know you banned jellyfish essence since what happened, but we're careful" I added. "It wasn't you that went nuts with the essence, my love. I like the sound of that face mask idea. We could do different ones too?" Mum suggested. "As well as eucalyptus masks, we could use Southern Lemon Kelp and ocean mint kelp leaves?" I said. "Brilliant" mum smiled. We wrote down the ingredients and the method to make the masks.

After we did our brainstorming we headed to the kitchen. "Will you help me with the washing up Caitlan?" Mum asked. "Yeah of course." I smiled. The washing up gloves were missing. "Huh that's weird" I said puzzled. We went to the Grotto. "Has anybody seen my washing up gloves?" Mum asked the girls, Sirena and Ondina had the seafood all out. "Why is our dinner all over the table?" I asked and me and mum were confused. Sirena told us that Mimi used her Moon Ring to enlarge the seafood at David's cafe, but lost the ring. Sirena and Ondina were bickering about it but I blocked out the arguing and helped mum put the seafood back away. Mum was getting frustrated. "Girls! This is no time to argue. Losing a Moon Ring is a serious matter. If Mimi doesn't find it, she won't get another." Mum scolded.

I went for a quick swim, and gathered some fresh seaweed. I went back to the Grotto and got some of Mum's sea salt extract and I headed to the kitchen. "What are you doing, sweetheart?" Mum asked confused. "A little experiment" I smiled and grabbed a lime out of the fridge. I made seaweed cordial with a pinch of sea salt and lime. I poured two glasses. "Ooo this is lovely, darling" mum complimented. "I'm glad you like it" I kissed mum's cheek. I then tranced out. I don't know how, I saw Evie's back yard; but then my vision switched and I felt scared for some reason, and saw David's brother Joe with a big crayfish. In his sunglasses, the reflection was Mimi...

Mum brought me out of the trance by squeezing my hand. "What is it Caitlan?" She asked worried. I told her what I'd seen - I saw from Zac's point of view before I saw from Mimi's. "Zac probably saw what I saw too. I should go help." I said panicked. "Go darling, be careful" mum said.

I got to the warehouse the same time as Zac. "You saw what I saw?" Zac asked. I nodded. "You get Mimi, I'll stall the truck" I told Zac and I used my powers to stop Joe's truck from moving. A few minutes later, Zac and Mimi appeared. "Quick let's go" I whispered and we ran out the warehouse and swam home.

Mum, Ondina and Sirena were waiting for us in the Grotto. Ondina asked how me and Zac knew where Mimi was. Zac told them about the visions and Mimi revealed about the visions last Full Moon. "So the connection between the three of you isn't new?" Mum asked, slightly bewildered. "Why is this happening?" Zac asked worried. "Mako must be giving you even more powers than you realise." Ondina suggested. "That has to be it, right?" Zac suggested. Mum, still looking uncertain nodded.

"It's getting late, Zac you should be heading home and you girls should head back to Mako." Mum said and everyone left. "Are you ok?" I asked worried. "I'm still not one hundred percent certain, but I'm more and more believing that Zac is the son of Nerissa" mum told me. "Let's have a face mask in bed before we go to sleep to relax" I smiled slightly, trying to help.

Me and mum got a South Lemon Kelp mask each and laid in bed. "This feels lovely, my darling" mum seemed to relax. "I'm glad you're relaxing abit mum. I'd kiss your cheek but you know" I laughed and mum tickled my sides. We took a couple of funny selfies and we felt the masks set on our skin, which we knew that it meant it was time to take them off. "My face is so smooth. And it's really helped me relieve stress. Well done baby" mum kissed my cheek before we fell asleep.
