I've just become a mom two months ago, and let me tell you, it's exhausting. Thankfully,  Charlie is taking good care of me and our adorable baby girl, Demi. Cecily,  has been coming over a lot lately to check up on us, even though she's been busy planning her wedding with her fiancé, Noah.

Charlie orders some food for us, and we all gather around the table, savoring the delicious aroma of the food. Cecily begins to talk about wedding planning and babies, and I can't help but feel a little overwhelmed.

"Harper, when are you planning to have another baby?" Cecily asks teasingly.

I look at her, surprised by her question. "Hell no, not for another while!" I exclaim. "I'm still trying to recover from this one!"

Cecily laughs and turns to Charlie. "And what about you, Charlie? When are you two planning to give Demi a sibling?"

Charlie puts his arm around me and smiles. "We haven't even thought about it yet. We're still enjoying being new parents."

Cecily rolls her eyes. "You two are no fun!"

I laugh and change the subject. "So, how's the wedding planning going?"

Cecily's face lights up. "It's going great! Noah and I have picked out the perfect venue, and we've narrowed down the guest list. We're still working on the menu, but we're getting there."

Charlie nods. "Sounds like you've got everything under control."

Cecily looks at me. "I'm just so happy that you and Charlie are going to be there. I can't imagine getting married without my best friend by my side."

I smile, feeling a surge of emotion. "I feel the same way, Cecily. You're like a sister to me."

Cecily then turns to Charlie. "And you, big brother, I can't wait to see you in a tuxedo!"

Charlie grins. "I'll make sure to wear my best one for you."

We continue to chat and laugh, enjoying each other's company. I look at Charlie and Cecily, feeling grateful for their support and love. It's moments like these that make me realize how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life.

As the night wore on, Cecily couldn't help but tease Charlie about when he and Harper would have another baby. "Charlie, when are you two going to give Demi a little brother or sister?" she asked, a mischievous glint in her eye.

Charlie rolled his eyes, smiling. "Cecily, we just had a baby two months ago. Let us enjoy this one first."

Cecily pouted dramatically. "Fine, but you're no fun," she said, sticking her tongue out at him.

I laughed at their antics, feeling happy and content. It was nice to have some adult conversation, even if it was just about wedding planning and babies. I looked down at Demi, who was sleeping peacefully in her bassinet, and felt a surge of love and gratitude.

As the night went on, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Charlie, Cecily, and our little family. Life was good, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.
