Harper's POV

The morning sun sneaks through the cracks in the curtains, casting warm stripes across the bed. I feel Charlie's warm chest against my back as I curl deeper into him, enjoying the softness of our blankets. But then the nausea hits. Ugh. Just my luck.

"Harper, are you okay?" Charlie's voice is sleep-laden but sweet as he strokes my arm gently.

I let out a small groan, clutching my stomach. "Just... a bit nauseous, Char. It's fine."

He chuckles softly, the sound reverberating through his chest. "Are you sure? I think it was the way you inhaled that whole pizza last night. Maybe our little girl is a glutton?"

I whip around to glare at him, though I can't help but smirk slightly. "You better stop teasing me, Agreste, or I swear I'll toss you off this bed!"

"Oh, please. If you tried, you'd probably just end up rolling off right next to me," he teases back, eyes glinting mischievously.

Rolling my eyes, I grab a pillow and smack him lightly. "You're so dead, Charlie!"

He bursts into laughter, making me laugh too, the discomfort fading for a moment. "Hey! Where are you going with that?" he jokes as I steal the covers and wrap myself tightly in them.

With a slight frown, I look up at him. "You know I need warmth. This baby is sucking the life out of me!"

"You're pulling the blanket like it's a life raft," he says, raising an eyebrow. "Are you trying to drown me?"

"Maybe I will!" I sit up and stick my tongue out at him, feeling playful despite the nausea.

"Okay, okay, I'll stop. But only if you come back here." He pats the spot beside him, his expression softening. "I'll take care of you, baby."

I love it when he calls me baby. It makes my heart flutter. "Fine," I say, crawling back towards him, but I have my own little plan.

As soon as I'm nestled back against him, I slowly lean in, letting my lips hover near his. "I've got a better idea, though..."

Charlie's eyes widen, full of hope. "What's that?"

I just smile, teasing him with the promise of a kiss but not giving it to him. "Just this..." I lean in closer, tilting my head to brush my lips lightly against his, teasingly pulling away just as he leans in.

"Harper! You can't just do that!" He groans, a mix of frustration and excitement in his tone.

I giggle, finding his reaction hilarious. "Oh, but I can! I want cuddles and your attention without... you know, getting too carried away."

"Not fair," he mumbles, half-kidding, half-pouting. "You're just teasing me now, aren't you?"

"Maybe I am," I say, feeling a satisfaction bubbling up inside me. "But I need cuddles! And you're so cute when you're flustered."

His expression shifts, a lazy grin spreading across his face. "You're such a brat. But fine, I'll take the kisses and cuddles."

I lean back in, finally capturing his lips fully, feeling his body melt against mine. Just a kiss... and another. Ugh, I can't get enough.

"There," I whisper, pulling back slightly. "Happy?"

"Ecstatic," he says, but I notice the longing in his eyes. "Are we going to play this game all day, or are you going to let me have more?"

"Depends..." I nuzzle closer, enjoying the warmth of his body against mine, his hands roaming against my back. "For now, it's just kisses."

"Harper!" he complains playfully, but I can see he's secretly loving every moment of this.

The day passes with more teasing and laughter, and I crave his attention even more, hormones driving me wild. We cuddle, kissing and whispering silly things to each other, the nausea buzzing at the back of my mind but fading away in his warmth.

"Okay, maybe you're not that bad," I finally relent as I lay against him, the pillows we threw aside now forgotten. "Just don't make fun of me for wanting cuddles all the time, alright?"

"Deal," he says, pulling me closer. "Just promise you won't hesitate to smack me with a pillow whenever I get too annoying."

And I can't help but laugh, cuddling deeper into him. This is all I need for now.
