Love Lasts Forever

I, Harper, can't believe it's finally here – my baby shower! I'm eight months pregnant with a baby girl, and my best friend Cecily, Charlie's twin sister, planned this whole thing. My other friends Natalie, Michelle, and Lillian are here, along with a bunch of other girls and my mom, Amy. Even though Charlie and I are only 18, we're so excited to start our family.

As I walk into the room, I'm immediately greeted by the sound of laughter and chatter. Cecily rushes over to me, giving me a big hug. "Harper, I'm so glad you're here! Everything is all set up for you."

I look around the room, taking in all the decorations. There are pink balloons and streamers everywhere, and the table is filled with adorable baby-themed treats. I can't help but feel a little overwhelmed with gratitude for my amazing friends and family.

My mom, Amy, comes over and gives me a hug. "Harper, I'm so proud of you," she says, tearing up a little. "You're going to be an amazing mother."

I smile, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. I know it won't be easy, but I'm ready for this new chapter in my life.

Natalie and Michelle come over, each giving me a hug and a squeal of excitement. "We're so excited for you, Harper!" Natalie says.

Michelle adds, "And we can't wait to meet the little one!"

Lillian, who is an artist, hands me a beautifully wrapped gift. "This is for the baby," she says with a smile. "I painted a little picture for her bedroom."

I tear open the wrapping paper to reveal a small canvas with a sweet pastel-colored painting of a bunny. It's absolutely perfect.

"Thank you so much, Lillian," I say, giving her a hug. "I can't wait to hang it up in the baby's room."

As the party goes on, I'm surrounded by loving friends and family, all eager to celebrate this new chapter in my life. I can't help but feel grateful for all the love and support in the room. I know that parenthood won't be easy, but with Charlie by my side and all these amazing people in our lives, I know we're going to be just fine.
