At Carmichael's, Calvin was finishing up a showing of a new XKE Jaguar.

"And that, my friends, is the ultimate vehicle" he announced.

The crowd applauded and left the store before closing time.

"Excellent showing, Calvin. I'm really impressed" said Mr Carmichael.

"I'm just doing my job, sir" said Calvin.

Mr Carmichael handed him his paycheck. "I thought I'd pay you before you left for vacation."

"Thank you, sir" said Calvin.

And he rushed off.

Sam was with her boyfriend Robin, Batman's youthful ward.

"You're really gonna be gone for a month?" said Robin.

"Yeah. I'm really gonna miss you, babe" said Sam.

"I'll miss you too, sweetheart" said Robin. "You'll write to me, won't you?"

"You know I will. I always will" said Sam.

"Thanks" said Robin. "Well... I'll see you in a few weeks."

Sam kissed her man on the mouth. "Bye."

"Bye" said Robin quietly.

Sam took one last glance at him. "I love you."

And she flew away.

"I love you too" said Robin.

Meantime, in New Rochelle New York, Charles Wallace was finishing his last piece of screenwriting.

"Well, it's time for me to go. I'll catch you guys later" he said.

"You're leaving for that vacation of yours, huh?" said Rob Petrie.

"Yeah. We've been wanting to reconnect with the Wiggles for a long time" said Charles Wallace.

"Oh, sure. Well, you have a good time" said Rob.

"Yes sir!" said Charles Wallace.

He hurried back to the apartment building and knocked on the door to Meg's apartment.

Her husband Chad Stuart answered it. "Hullo, Charles."

"Hi, Chad. Is Meg home?" said Charles Wallace.

"I'm afraid not. Are you here to say goodbye before vacation?" said Chad.

"You betcha. I couldn't leave without saying goodbye to my sister" said Charles Wallace.

"Well, when she gets back, I'll give her a goodbye kiss from you" said Chad.

"Thanks, pal. I'll see you when I get back" said Charles Wallace.

Chad lifted his brother-in-law up to give him a hug. "Have fun, eh?"

"I will. Bye" said Charles Wallace.

"Goodbye" said Chad.

Then Charles Wallace went across the hall to say goodbye to his roommates.

He saw Andy pacing back and forth.

"Hey, Andy" he said.

"Charles Wallace. You're home" said Andy.

"Yeah. I thought I'd stop by" said Charles Wallace.

Then his smile dropped. "Where's Jeremy?"

"That's why I'm glad you're here. He wasn't here when I got home" said Andy.

She handed the boy a piece of paper. "He left this."

Charles Wallace read from the paper. It was a note from Jeremy.

So dear Andy,

After you left, I started to feel unwell.

I went to Meg for help and she confirmed that I'm pregnant.

The very thought of a respectable man like me being pregnant is just too much.

I've gone back to my parents' house to compose myself.

My love,

Jeremy

"What?! He's pregnant?" said Charles Wallace.

"It's unbelievable, right? As if the one he had in that creepy hotel wasn't enough" said Andy.

"And he ran back to his parents' house? Why are we worried about that?" said Charles Wallace.

"Jeremy never runs away at the sign of trouble. That's why" said Andy.

"Oh yeah. Good point."

"I gotta go up there and check on him. If he's really that scared, he needs me" said Andy.

"Wait. I better come with you" said Charles Wallace.

"What?"

"I know the whereabouts of England way better. And I can use my mind to find exactly where Jeremy is" said Charles Wallace.

"And what about your vacation?" said Andy.

"I'll get you to Jeremy and I'll meet the guys there after" said Charles Wallace.

Andy sighed. "If you insist. I hope you know what you're doing."

"I always know what I'm doing, Andy" said Charles Wallace.
